Here dwells the infamous Ice Beast. Speak to the Old Hermit if you want to learn how to slay the beast. Wear your shoes to safely cross the lava and be sure NOT to let the Ice Beast hit you! The best way to kill him and stay alive is to walk east along the shore where the white round circle is shown below. The Ice Beast will walk onto the lava and die. Collect the heart and head back to Blood's Home for your new blade!
With the introduction of Tangun in September 2007, the Ice Beast Quest can be completed by any level player so if you need a Frost sabre for that Wind Quest . . . go get it!
