Rat Alliance
The Rat versus the Horse


A lesser alliance can be described as a way to earn the respect of a Mythic Animal class. Unfortunately, this a just a favor. You do not gain the respect of the cave, but do recieve a legend mark, karma, and some nice items in return.

Starting the Quest
 Your quest begins by falling into the appropriate "guard room" associated with each cave. In terms of the Rat, the guard room can be reached by walking around Gnaw which contains the guardroom.. Walk around in the guardroom until you see a door. Through this door will take you to a room with a boss, who is standing behind a large black gate in between 2 blue crystals. Approach the black gate and say the name of the enemy of the cave. In this case, the enemy would be "Horse". After saying that, a prompt will come up telling you what must be done to earn the favor of the Rat.

Your Mission
 The Rat desires that you do the following :


- Slay 3 Horse key bosses and 3 Horse item bosses. In order to do this correctly, you must avoid killing anything else. That doesn't include animals within the cave. You can kill the ENEMY animal, but not TOO many of them! So be careful! You can kill VERY few others outside of the cave.. For example if you kill a squirrel, you will still get credit, but not if you kill 50 squirrels.

- Bring a tribute of items and keys stolen from the enemies cave. In this case, you will need to bring :


4 Pearl Charms
8 Keys to Thunder

After you have killed all 6 bosses and gathered the necessary items, you will need to return to the Rat guardroom.

Reward
Upon your return with the items and the necessary bosses killed, you will be rewarded with the following:
1. A Large Increase in Karma (2-4 Points)
2. A Rat's favor which can be used for joining an NPC subpath.
3. A Legend showing your accomplishment.

4. Whenever you return to the guardroom on any level cave, and say the enemies name again, the NPC will cast "Rebirth" on you, which is a full healing, ressurection spell.
5. A large amount of experience (10 million experience).
