Interesting Facts about Suljip Tavern:
Ah, you would hear of our home? *he gazes wistfully into the distance*
We never wanted for anything tucked away in our small paradise, few knew of us and all troubles passed us by! It was a rich and verdant land, sometimes it seemed like spring would last a whole year! We spent our days in the study of crafts! Truly there wasn't a crafter in the land who could match us. The skills of our crafts were reflected in the town, filled with buildings that were wondrous in design and a joy to behold, within them dwelled great artisans that were famed the world over.
Ah, but fame can be a curse in disguise! It wasn't long until word of our talents reached the ears of the foul witch Mupa, who sought to use our crafts to equip an army under Sagu's control. Knowing we would never willingly aid such a nefarious plan, she came in the guise of a trader, bearing news of a flood that threatened to destroy our beloved Kinung!
Kinung had never flooded before, and so we refused her advice. Little did I know that in secret she was using her powers to cause the very waters to rise! Soon our beloved town was under threat!
When Mupa returned she warned if we did not leave we would all be drowned!
What could I do? My family were in danger and so I did the only thing I could, I called for the evacuation of Kinung. When we had gone Mupa brought about a terrible flood upon the town, rending the buildings and smiting the woodlands, leaving nothing but rubble... the only remains of our eons of work! It broke our hearts to see our homes destroyed, we couldn't rebuild it either *he sighs* even our tools were washed away.
Anyhow! That's all history right? Thanks to you we have our home back, and with your hard work and our legendary skills, I know we can make it better than ever!
