you know that during the shattering a massive offense was led
against the Skeletons and Slags that were raiding the Sun Moon
Clan hall? The entire clan got together and destroyed these
foul beasts, removing them from their clan hall and encouraging
other clans to do the same. Despite the fact that the Skeleton's
could one hit every person in the game, the clannies of Sun
Moon proved they were not about to let Sagu's forces rule them.
That's an important battle in history. That helped shift the
tides of the forces during the shattering, yet.. people do not
know about it? That's sorta sad. How can we expect the Nexus
to survive if we have no basis to work off of?
Nexus Atlas had this in mind. While our original and still major
goal is maps, we will be opening the most extensive history
archive on Nexus ever known. Complete with screenshots, information
that was thought to be lost forever, and stuff you probably
never even heard about, the history archive hopes to cover every
version from the dawn of Beta to the Dusk of 4.x.
What good is a clickable map of 3.0 kugnae? Plenty. So maybe
you can't travel back in time to collect Tiger meat from the
Kugnae Tiger cave, but the memories that are sparked by these
maps are unbelievable. During the production of that section,
some of my testers would spend hours telling me of things they
had forgotten until they saw those maps. That alone was worth
the work.
And maybe one day you'll pass the Nexus down to your kids, your
friends, or anyone else, and you can say I was at the shattering!
I saw King Yuri's failed wedding to Malady. I watched Autumn
Thunder tear about Mythic! And if not, you can always show them
the information on our site.
Will we ever chronicle everything? We would sure love to accomplish
that, but this project will be a long and hard one. Besides,
if we released everything on release day, what reason would
you have to come back to our site daily?
So now that you've seen an overview of our history, go into
our history archives and
experience it. So maybe its not the
Nagnag Fortress or The Sonhi Attack grounds, but hey, it's not
too far from it.
