A flip and a switch!

Today two great members of the community have been promoted!
Reon, once General of the Buyan Imperial Army, has been given the privilege to lead the Diviner subpath as Elder. As most of us know you cannot hold the position of a clan/army primogens and be an elder, he has promoted his trusted Intelligence commander Teto.
Teto is taking on the role of General. I had the privilege to have a short interview with him. Teto has says "For the most part I plan to keep things the same. BIA tries to follow the ideals for peace and justice" He has also stated to try to bring the nations more together. Teto has been in the BIA for a long time and I'm sure he'll do just fine. The party in the barracks was attended by many citizens of all the kingdoms in an overwhelming show of support. Maybe his views on international interdependence have some merit after all.

KRA Medal Ceremony being held tonight!

General Hatiki of Koguryo Army invites the community to attend a medal ceremony which will as we honor soldiers and citizens who have gone above and beyond their duties in showing loyalty to Koguryo and protecting the lands, royals and it's citizens.
The ceremony will be held tonight at 10pm EST/7pm PST inside the Royal Army Barracks, located inside the Kugnae Palace.
He shall also be other special announcements after the medal ceremony. Be there!

Tangun Help Day - This Sunday

The Royal Ministry of Koguryo is having a help day in Tangun on Sunday, September 20th! If you have a Tangunite or friends considering trying out the game, bring them along. It'll be the perfect time to get some assistance and play a few games.

The King has expressed his desire in visiting the lands of Tangun. In honor of this tour the Ministry of Koguryo and any participating clans will be assisting Tangunites with completing quests, gaining experience, and learning special abilities.
All young ones are welcome to participate, and if you would like to volunteer your services in educating and training please contact Prime Minister Loxie.
The Royal Banker, Kaiyo Sature, will be accepting donations to Tangun Help Day. Please contact her to contribute.
The Revels will be held on schedule by the Cauldron in Tangun (8pm EST) as well as several other events, to be announced the day of.

Taiisrhaa is out!

The polemical Taiisrhaa has been replaced as Royal Shaman of Koguryo!
For reasons which have yet to be confirmed, the powerful shaman Taiisrha is no longer the Royal Shaman. His replacement has been appointement by M'hul and will respond directly to the monarch. The new Royal Shaman of Koguryo is a long-serving kogurian defender: BruXinha.

I briefly spoke with the Royal Minister, Loxie, about the situation. When asked why Taiisrha was replaced, she only responded with, "The previous one (Taiisrha) was set up, so I had to find another." Loxie hinted that the answers were posted on the Chronicles of the Winds, but that it had been redacted by an unknown source. It would seem all the suspicion surrounding Taiisrha and his Creature Suvola has not gone unnoticed by the pair.
Perhaps Taiisrha is on the run after the incident with Suvola at the wedding at Forsaken hall? Maybe.

Suvola the murderer?
|
If you have not been keeping up with the pulse of the Kingdoms, you may have missed out on the accusations thrown about the Chronicles of the Winds. It has been reported that, during the wedding of Tyrra and Nocturne, which was held in the Forsaken Clan Hall, Taiisrha's creature Suvola was in attendance. However,mid-way during the ceremony Suvola approached the altar and slaughtered both the Bride, Groom, and their Best Man and Maid of Honor.
Taiisrha was nowhere to be found...
Unfortunately the death of all four was unavoidable due to the apparent monstrous strength of the creature Suvola. The ceremony did have security in place which responded swiftly after the murder occurred. They were able to subdue the creature without further incident.
Various influential people in the Kingdoms have posted on the matter though the Chronicles of the Wind. Taiisrha himself even spoke on the matter.
But the question still remains, can Taiisrha truly be trusted? Why was Suvola at the wedding by herself?
Only time will tell...
*Edit* Thanks to Wildhair for providing corrections for this story. Originally I indicated that Taiisrha was at the wedding. In reality, Suvola had attended the wedding on her own.

A reset for better or for worse?

| Today we're putting in a new feature that gives groups of 5 people or more from the same clan a 5% experience bonus. Grab 4 (or more!) of your best friends from your clan and enjoy the bonus experience. |
Now this might be a nice feature to allow bigger groups to form and hunt but there can be issues. The group must have 5 or more members of the same clan in a group to receive the 5% bonus, some members of the community will refuse to Jump clans and some will do it at ease just to have a 5% bonus with regulars they hunt with. This might be an issue with Clan quotas as well.. This option really should of been implemented with everyone in a group of 5+ not just clan members only.

Back on July 8th Fox Hunt tokens have been added as a new way to obtain exclusive mounts as prize for winning multiple Fox Hunts.
To redeem your Fox hunt tokens, just scroll down on the winner's prize menu until you reach last option.
You can obtain 3 unique mounts by trading in tokens:
30 tokens - Muddy boots mount
60 tokens - Twinkle toes mount
120 tokens - Friendly face mount

Chuseok Festival!

The Royal Ministry of Koguryo welcomes you to join us in our Chuseok festival! We will begin at the Royal Palace on each night of the festival (27th-29th at 8pm EST) to welcome you for wrestling matches and visiting with the ancestors! Prizes will be given.
The ceremony of the night will be performed by the Royal Shaman Taiisrhaa.

Ritual of Protection to Kugnae Palace

Last night the Royal Shaman Taiisrhaa held a ritual to protect the Royal palace of Koguryo while Queen Yun prepares for the arrival of Koguryo's heir. The salve that previously caused a disturbance during the Queen's tea with the Shaman made an appearance once again.
The ritual caused many to ask why does the palace need to be protected? What is this salve Taiisrhaa has been giving to Queen Yun? How long has it been since they announced her pregnancy? Why is it taking her so long to pop?
We'll just have to wait and see!
