Lost Mines--Lost Once More..
|
The Lost Mines have caved in from over excavating its mysterious riches!
The final exchange before the Lost Mines were sealed:
-------------------------------------------------------
[Ky]: De! Cracks! Some of the mine walls are starting to crumble!
[De]: Leave them be. Perhaps those confusing humans will soon leave our home...
[Fe]: With all that excavating it's surprising the tunnels haven't collapsed yet.
[Mining Councilman]: South tunnel, WATCH OUT!
[Mining Kindred]: BREACH! CAVE IN!
[Mining Primogen]: Men, move back! Protect the south expanse!
[Mining Kindred]: The rock and water is pouring in too fast, we have to get out!
[Mining Primogen]: NO! Stand your ground! Keep the entrance clear! We've worked too hard to let this go.
[Ky]: Does their greed have no limit?
[Bo]: The lust of money is the root of all...
[De]: They will have to choose between their lives and their loot it seems...
[Mining Kindred]: It can't be done! Too much rock and water! We're losing it!
[Mining Councilman]: Seal it off! Move back, everyone!
[Mining Primogen]: WHAT? NOOO! STAND YOUR GRO--
-------------------------------------------------------
An interesting question is posed:
Are we too centered on money and forget the values that connect us amongst ourselves and to the other creatures of the lands?
While it is painful to accept, our desires may have tremendously harmed so many others..

*** Note: Geostew may NO LONGER be borrowed from a friend, unless you have completed that portion of the quest. Essentially, the rabbit will recognize that you have completed the geostew part of the quest.Caster Geostews are reported to not work as of this posting, so you may find yourself having to borrow a fighter stew!
Step One:
Enter the Leech cave within the well of the Lost Mines. Head north (up) to the next room, and then east (right). You will find this NPC in Muddy Passage:
Give this NPC the Stealth Explosives (You will take damage). You will drop into Hidden Pond.
Step Two:
In the Hidden Pond, you will find this NPC:
It will take your Iron key, Raw honey, and wool. It will recognize the geostew in your inventory and will NOT take it. Karma will be granted to you.
Step Three:
Head South (down) as directed by the Hidden Pond NPC. You will find a golden entrance to Geovore Circle. Speak to the NPC here.
The NPC will take the Clear water song. The NPC will want the name of a story titled: The Spirit of Giving The NPC will ask for the name of the rabbit: G.B.
**Interesting to note: The story of G.B. and the Old Hunter was written by Tilak and incorporated into the event--perhaps being the first time such a thing has happened! You may read it Here!
Step Four:
You will be granted a "Hierophant leap" potion. Upon use, you will learn the next sage spell. If you have Sage 5, you will gain experience (Max--4.2 billion). If under level 90, you will be transported to the wilderness Sage entrance without consuming the potion. Hierophant Leaps are Break-on-death! (BOD)
You will earn the Legend Mark--
Congratulations!
The message of this part of the Lost Mines is an important one that we should all reflect upon. Take your time and enjoy it!
