New and improved, private and public rooms
Posted

Hey folks!
The Kingdom of the Winds received some small unannounced updates this morning after the regular daily reset.
The first one that was noticed by a small group of people was a long-awaited update to the Eternal Order of Nagnang rooms. This was a good update but that mostly affects scholars who serve the EON. See a sneak peek below:
The main unannounced change, however, happened at the Tangun Game Room. It was expanded so it can fit multiple events more comfortably and extend the tradition initiated by the Covenant clan in February this year of hosting monthly Mini Carnival games in Tangun as a combined effort where clans, ministries, and subpaths come together to host events simultaneously.
The Game Room is located inside the Theater (X065 Y137) in Tangun. The fastest way to reach there is to take the shortcut behind the big green pot next to the Quiet Room. Once inside the Theater take the first door on the right.
See below the difference between the old and the new Game Room of Tangun: BEFORE
AFTER
This reporter was particularly fond of the bear fur and fishing motif in this area! (Click to expand image below)
The next monthly Tangun Mini Carnival will be held tomorrow (8/30) starting at 9 pm EST and will have around 15 organizations co-hosting mini games in a joint initiative by Ministries, Clans, and Subpaths, similar to how Festivals work. You can find more information about this in the Community Events board.
If you are looking for new excitement this weekend, be sure to stop by and enjoy games like Dodgeball, Trivia, Blades of Glory, Rhyming Wars, and many others. And if you are a member of EON be sure to stop by your new office when you can. Currently these are the only changes implemented today that Nexus Atlas is aware of. If you find anything else new, please inform me or any other member of our Staff.
Much obliged to Kaleea and Vini for establishing this news article.

Nagnang & Merchant Reconciliation
|
A few Hyuls ago the Merchant Guild had changed their stance towards Nagnang to hostile, due to some past conflicts between Nagnang Royalty and retired Merchant Elder everclear. It all started when King ChaeRi announced everclear's Banishment from Nagnang for actions everclear took while he also served as Primarch of the Forsaken clan.
The situation got more severe when everclear declared that the Merchants no longer recognized ChaeRi as the crown of Nagnang and considered him an enemy of their Guild. He therefore announced that Merchants had ceased all trade and operations in Nagnang and refused aid to aid ChaeRi's supporters.
However, not long after ascending to the Guild's leadership back in May, Elder Baltzen took a step towards peace by announcing that the Merchants had removed all Sanctions from the Nagnang government and weeks after switched the stance of the Merchants to have "neutrality" towards the Kingdom.
Yet, after moons since Elder Baltzen made the announcements in the name of his Guild, he and King ChaeRi had not met face-to-face yet. This finally changed last week (8/10) after a ceremony held in the Nagnang Palace ballroom (Josang Hol). Seeking a diplomatic solution to this conflict, the Chonguns helped conciliate a meeting between the Merchant Elder with King ChaeRi, the General, and the Sage of Nagnang. Through diplomacy an agreement was made, and peace was restored. While not all is forgiven both parties have come to a truce. This truce will benefit both the citizens of Nagnang and members of the Merchant Guild.
BOARD TITLE: Chronicles of the Winds FROM: King ChaeRi DATE: 9/02 SUBJECT: To the Merchant Guild and the Kingdoms To the Citizens of the Kingdoms,
Our kingdoms have seen much turmoil, and it is my sincere wish that we move forward with a renewed sense of unity and purpose. I address the Merchant Guild, its esteemed members, and the wider community regarding recent matters that have caused strife and misunderstanding.
Let it be known that Nagnang has not imposed any sanctions against the Merchant Guild. The Guild and all its members are welcome within our borders to trade, engage in commerce, and host events. It is my hope that we can foster a relationship built on mutual respect and shared prosperity.
However, I must address a specific matter concerning the Former Elder, everclear. His actions and words have sown discord, and it was with a heavy heart that I issued his banishment. This decision was not made lightly but was necessary to preserve the peace and dignity of Nagnang. Yet, I believe in the possibility of redemption and reconciliation.
Therefore, I extend an invitation to everclear. Should he choose to return to our kingdoms and wish for forgiveness, I request that he meet with me directly and discuss a way to move forward. A respectful and sincere request, one that acknowledges the impact of his actions would be welcomed. Should this condition be met, I will grant him a full pardon, allowing him not only to attend and hosts events but also to return to Nagnang without restrictions.
I urge us all to remember the history that has shaped these decisions. The conflict with everclear, though intense, does not define our future. Let us look ahead, striving for harmony and understanding. The doors of Nagnang remain open to the Merchant Guild, and I welcome any efforts to heal the wounds of the past.
In unity and strength, we shall continue to build a future where all can thrive.
King ChaeRi | King ChaeRi's proclamation (COTW Online version)
BOARD TITLE: Chronicles of the Winds FROM: Baltzen DATE: 9/02 SUBJECT: **Merchant Official Proclamation** Greetings Citizen's
Effective immediately and without delay; Merchant Midnight Madness is to return to Nagnang. As was with our previous statement; Sanctions against the Crown and its Royal Court of Nagnang were lifted months ago. However, we retained the desire to withhold, holding the Midnight Madness Madness until further discussions with the Royalty of Nagnang had been accomplished.
This meeting was held today with King ChaeRi, Sage Kaleea, and General Heira. I was in attendance with an honored friend and advocate, Ally of the Merchant's Chongun Vini. We were successful in our discussions and a few things came from this.
Merchants are encouraged to attend, host, and participate in any and all activities in the kingdom of Nagnang. Retired Elder/Legacy Guide everclear has also been provided the ability to do the same, should he wish to receive a full pardon from the King himself. That will be between himself and the His Royal Majesty, King ChaeRi.
I am happy that we have finally gotten to this point and can move forward.
Baltzen Bali-tang Elder of [M]erchants *Protector of Nature* *Keeper of Balance* | Elder Baltzen's proclamation (COTW Online version)
Keeping true to his word Elder Baltzen declared the next schedule Merchant Midnight Madness would take place in Nagnang's markets. He pulled out all the stops to make this MMM one to remember.
Decor and dress were themed on Nagnang's national color: Purple
Pot Gambles where in just one roll players can win millions
It seems peace, unity, and coins are in the air for this celebration.
Thank you goes to Elder Baltzen and Sage Kaleea for their screenshots for this report.

'Build a land we're proud of:' Gracey named Imperial Minister of Buya
|
Imperial Minister Gracey busts out a victory shimmy like nobody is watching after completing an interview with the reporter on the Buya Palace steps.
Good things come to those who wait, and it has been worth the wait. Last night, Buya announced the appointment of their newest Imperial Minister, Gracey. As her name suggests, the graceful entity met with the reporter on the steps of the Buyan palace in a quaint meeting to discuss the good news.
Imperial Minister Gracey. It's got a good sound to it. But, what's ringing through your mind at the moment?
Oh, thank you! I'm thinking it's been a long day, haha! There's been some work to do, but I think I have a good foundation to work from. There's been a lot of reading.
You've had about 24 hours now to mull on the fate of the Imperial Ministry. What do you think this new era of the organization will look like?
Well, one of my top priorities is to strengthen the unity within Buya itself by promoting the BIA, which any Buyan citizen can join, including those in clans. I also think it's important to enhance Buya's culture by hosting community events that celebrate our heritage. A third goal is to reopen the Shining Jewel Foundation to support our young citizens. I'm also aiming to build strong relationships within other organizations within the kingdoms.
How would you describe Buya's culture?
I feel that Buya has always been known as a prosperous nation. I hope I can continue the tradition of giving to others, and helping others by hosting events. I also want to ensure that those traditions are kept alive.
As the newest in a long line of Imperial Ministers, how do you view your style of leadership?
I like to work with others, as well as delegate responsibilities. I am working on building a team of council that have the same passions of helping the community and wanting to make it a fun and safe atmosphere for all the citizens.
What sort of individuals do you seek to fill your new council?
Even though there are limitations to members, I want to surround myself with a council that wants to help others, exhibit a high integrity, and preserve our traditions and values.
You've mentioned an interest in other kingdoms' organizations. How do you view Buya's relationship with her neighboring states?
I've spoken to a few ministers and Elders who are already interested in co-hosting events, and contributing. I feel I have good relationships with many people in the Kingdoms, and I want to express my deepest gratitude for all their help so far. I want to work together, so we can continue to build a land we are all proud of.
Is there anything else you want to let the Kingdoms know about this new chapter over in Buya?
I just want everyone to stay engaged, share your ideas, and participate in the community activities. My door is always open, and I am here to serve you. Let's have some fun!
We wish the best for Buya and her new Imperial Minister, and incoming council. We expect great things!

New Silla Primogen
Posted
by: Kaleea
-- 8:48 PM EST
|
Silla's newest primogen, sspy, joins fellow clan members and the reporter in the Silla Clan hall in making the announcement.
In a significant turning point for the Silla Clan, sspy has been elected as the new Primogen. This election comes on the heels of a lockdown period.
During the lockdown, clan members came together to reflect on their values and the qualities they needed in a new leader. The result was decisive, with sspy receiving the majority of support from his peers.
Reporter Kaleea was able to take a moment to meet with the newly appointed Primogen for an interview.
What does being the Primogen of the Silla clan mean to you personally? Each person contributes to the clan in their own way. My contribution will be to oversee that they can do that to the best of their ability. That is what Primogen means to me.
What are your top priorities or goals for the clan during your leadership? To start bringing Silla out in the community again, by hosting events to bring joy and fun to the community.
How do you envision the future of Silla Clan? I envision a friendly place where all can gather and to have fun with fellow clan members and community members. I hope to one day find the finest tailors in Nagnang to redesign the Silla clan helmet.
What message would you like to convey to the members of Silla and the community? The sands may change but they remain everlasting. Remember we are the Silla clan of Nagnang and we will survive through all trials!
Do you have any final words for us? I ask that anyone willing to host events and want a friendly place to be, reach out to Silla clan and come join the festivities.

Summary of Lughnasadh Festival Day 2
Posted
by: Kaleea
-- 10:08 PM EST

"The tapestry of creativity continued to unfold today at Lughnasadh. Today, we invite you to step into the Sacred Grove where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary. This isn't just a festival but a gathering of souls, each carrying stories, insights, and a yearning to connect through the universal language of art. As you traverse the Sacred Grove, allow Awen to guide you. Seek inspiration in unexpected places, and let the whispers of creativity ignite your imagination! - Druid Kaleea
Just before Lughnasadh day two was scheduled to start, Merchant Mikado Guide Smokester started saging that she had a very important announcement. I believe it's safe to say that everyone was so confused on what this could be about. Soon, everyone would learn that Smokester was presenting Druid Elder Supply with a one of a kind award. Here is what Smokester had to say:
Smokester: "It is an honor to speak to you today about a remarkable pillar of benevolence and support that has made an indelible impact upon our kingdoms and the sacred druids who guide them: Supply's philanthropy.
In a world where challenges and needs are ever-present, Supply stands as a beacon of hope and generosity. Their unwavering commitment to the betterment of our societies shines through in every initiative they undertake. From the bustling cities of our kingdoms to the tranquil groves of our druidic circles, Supply's efforts have forged pathways of prosperity and unity.
Equally profound is their impact on the druids, the wise custodians of nature's balance. Recognizing the crucial role the druids play in preserving our environment and nurturing the land, Supply has extended a hand of support that echoes with respect and reverence. Their donations have facilitated the healing of sacred groves, and supported the druids vital work in harmonizing our world with nature.
Supply's philanthropy is not merely a gesture of charity but a testament to their deep-seated belief in the power of collective goodwill. They understand that true progress is achieved when every corner of our world is uplifted, when every individual and community has the chance to thrive.
Today, as we reflect on the positive changes brought about by Supply's generosity, let us remember that their work is a call to action for us all. Their example reminds us that each of us has a role to play in fostering a world where compassion and support transcend boundaries.
In closing, let us extend our heartfelt gratitude to Supply for their extraordinary commitment. Their efforts have forged stronger kingdoms, empowered the druids, and created a legacy of kindness that will inspire future generations. May we all be inspired to follow their lead, working together to build a world where every person, and every corner of our realm, can flourish." | |
I was able to catch a word with Druid Elder Supply on this busy day and this is what she had to say:
Supply: "I am honored with this recognition. To become a Lauded Philanthropist is very gratifying, and I am humbled. In our community, friendship and helping each other are what bind us together. Through mutual support and cooperation, we create an environment where everyone can thrive and feel valued. Together, we can overcome any challenge and celebrate every success, making our community stronger and more united. Thanks to everyone who made it possible." |
After this surprise award, the scheduled games were set to begin.
Last man alive by Barbarians was the first event scheduled for today. This was a thrilling contest that showcased combat and strategy skills.
Next, Muses had Gathering of the Arts. The Muse have noticed the unusual stillness that has settled over our beloved lands. They recognize that creativity thrives in the vibrant hearts of our community, so they invite everyone to share a story.
After spending time near the warmth of the Muse fire, the events moved to Cluichi for Fortune Reveals. In a tradition as ancient as the stars, the voices of Diviner Oracles and Druidic Ovates have long been revered for their profound wisdom, guidance, and the truth they reveal.
Up next was Weapon Dance by the Do, where the community was invited to prepare to engage their body and spirit in an exhilarating displace of agility and strategy. This event was an electrifying game that intertwines the art of movement with the thrill of strategy! Participants showcased their quick thinking and nimble feet as they navigate a dance around a series of weapons.
After the games the Druids prepared their closing ritual. Here is a transcription:
| Kaleea: "As we gather in this sacred grove, let us reflect on Lughnasadh. The Earth will soon provide, and we will reap the rewards of our labor. Mighty Lugh, and the bountiful Earth. Thank you for wisdom, guidance, and blessings. Make ready our hands to work in harmony with the land. Great Lugh, we chant your praises."
Philemon: "Blessed be the harvest"
Andy: "Blessed be the Earth"
ZipZappy: "Blessed be the cycle of life"
Alys: "Blessed be Lughnasadh!"
Philemon: "Golden fields of grain, Under sun and rain, Blessed by Earth and sky, As the seasons fly."
Andy: "Harvest moon, shining bright, Guide us through the night. With gratitude we sing, For the gifts you bring."
Alys: "Fruits and seeds we sow, In the soil below. Life's eternal dance, In your sacred trance."
ZipZappy: "Harvest moon, shining bright, Guide us through the night. With gratitude we sing, For the gifts you bring."
Kaleea: "As the wheel of the year turns, may we carry the spirit of Lughnasadh within us. May our hearts remain grateful, our hands diligent, ever connected to the Earth. Go forth in peace, with the blessings of Lughnasadh! Until we gather again, nature's Blessings for a bountiful harvest"
Druids: "So mote it be!" |
And to end the night, everyone was invited back to Mystic Garden to play a little bit of KSG where community members were invited to step into the legendary arena where valor and creativity converge in a thrilling tournament unlike any other!
The Druids would like to take a moment to thank you all for making Lughnasadh possible again this year!

Summary of Druid's Fire Festival Day 1
Posted
by: Kaleea
-- 10:07 PM EST
|
The first day of the Festival started with the Druid Elder Supply inviting the community to celebrate Lughnasadh. "Lughnasadh, also known as Lugh is the beginning of the harvest season. It is named after the deity Lugh, a God associated with skill, crafts, and harvest. The festival involves games and rituals to honor Lugh, as well as giving thanks for the first fruits of the harvest", announced Supply.
The festival of Lughnasadh began with a traditional opening ritual:
Supply: "Raising her hands to the sky- Hear us, O Lugh, Lord of Light and Harvest! As the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer, we gather to honor your strength and fertility. You have united yourself with the Earth, and now it's our turn to reap the rewards of our labor. We call upon your radiant light to guide us through the coming winter, and to nourish our bodies and spirits."
noots: "nodding in agreement- We call upon the spirits of the land, the ancestors, and the Gods to join us in this sacred rite. May their wisdom and blessings be upon us as we celebrate the harvest season. May our ancestors' guidance be with us as we tend the fields and gather in the bounty of the earth."
Andy: "smiling- Let us begin by acknowledging the cycles of life and death that brings us to this moment. The wheel of the year turns once more, and we are reminded that our time on this earth is fleeting. But even as we harvest what we have sown, we know that our labor is not in vain. For it is in this moment that we come together as a community, to share in the fruits of our labor and to celebrate the connection to one another."
ZipZappy: "with a mischievous glint in his eye- May Lugh's fiery spirit ignite within us, guiding us through the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead. May our hearts be filled with gratitude for the abundance of this land and may our hands be blessed with the fruit of our labor. And may our relationships be strengthened by this union, just as Lugh has united himself with the Earth."
Philemon: "with a gentle smile- As we celebrate the union of Lugh with the Earth, we acknowledge the sacred marriage between heaven and earth. May our own relationships be blessed by this union, just as Lugh's love for the Earth has brought forth life and abundance. May our love and commitment to one another be as unshakeable as the oak tree that stands before use."
Supply: "Let us now invoke Lught's blessings upon our gathering. May his radiant light illuminate our path, guiding us through the seasons to come. May his power nourish our bodies, minds, and spirits." |
Before the games began for the day, Elder Supply told the community there were two community members that the Druids had decided to recognize with the Protector Of Nature mark. Those two individuals were Baltzen and BraveStones. Congratulations to both!
I had a moment to ask Merchant Elder Baltzen if he had any words he wanted to share. Baltzen: "I am truly honored to be recognized as a protector of nature. It has been my life's mission to uphold and foster a strong, inclusive community for everyone. Receiving this recognition is both unexpected and a wonderful gift."
I also had a moment to speak with BraveStones and he shared a few words as well. BraveStones: "Thanks! It's such an honor to get the Protector of Nature mark! Hope Nature always gets protected and everyone enjoys this event!"
After the markings were concluded the scheduled events began:
In the first one, the crowd gathered at Sacred Grove before moving north east to Mystic Garden for the Archery Tournament hosted by the Rangers. What better way to celebrate a bountiful harvest than by shooting arrows at your opponent?
Next, the Chonguns hosted a Samurang Showdown which allowed the contestants to show their battle skills. The Samurang showdown not only showcased incredible talent but also served as a reminder of the power of the arts in bringing people together. No festival is complete without some form of martial combat, and Lughnasadh is no exception.
Next up, the crowd filled up with brave competitors that would face off in a thrilling match hosted by the Merchant Guild using only Ilbon knives. With stakes high and treasures to claim, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation as participants squared off in an epic battle on the bridge. This one of a kind event attracted duelists from near and far, each determined to defend the shimmering treasures and outmaneuver their opponent.
After consecutive games with much display of stamina, the community needed a break. This was when the Druids invited everyone to share a Tale around the fire. This gathering emphasizes respect for all storytellers. This event also holds significance for those in Bardic training with the Druids.
Last but not least, to finish off Day One of the Festival, the Geomancers invited the community into the Mystic Garden once again to play Nature Bounty. This exhilarating event invited participants to engage in a fun filled adventure as they explore the infinite cycles of nature. Each participate had a chance to kill nine elemental animals to collect tokens for prizes.
Above: Druid ZipZappy hits Druid MiniPOCPoet so hard he turns into a raven. Left: Archer, Kokabel is caught sleeping his opponents. Right: Barbarian Ogedei finally casts Kamikaze after what seemed like 6 moons.
Left: Astraea shares her tale during Tales around the fire. Right: The Geomancer and Druids prepare the animals.
