TaikPae emerges, MuHyul's sword is finished!

With my ears to the winds, I heard something that seemed to stick out to me above the rest. TaikPae
had finally came out of Beard's shop in Kugnae, to announce that he had finished crafting the blade for
the King, MuHyul.
He spoke with everyone for a while, answering the curious inquiries about his finest master piece, being
careful to not give away too much. He was adamant about one thing; It must be given to the King,
and only the King. He has proclaimed it to be the only one of its kind. This sword, he claims, is
"Not just made of fire...it is fire."
He had a letter he wished to be delivered straight to the King, to inform him that he had finally finished
crafting his new sword. He handed this letter over to a soldier of the Koguryo Royal Army, Jakie, to be
delivered to the King. She sped off swiftly to deliver it. TaikPae hung around to continue speaking with
everyone for a few more minutes.
BagOfChips felt he should warn TaikPae about the dangers of crafting such a sword for the King. When
word gets out, it could put his very life in danger.
Personally, I can't help but be reminded of one thing; Power has a way of corrupting people. This being
said, what effects might such a mighty sword, possibly the finest ever crafted in history, have on the
honorable King? Only time will tell...

Anniversary time!
|
Yep, it's that time again people. Celebrating yet another year in Nexus. We're up to
fourteen wonderful years now. My wife and I rushed in to see the fireworks display.
A few people joined us while we watched the, always beautiful, display that the
fireworks master puts on. Among them, if you look close, might be some people you
haven't seen in a very long time!
I always enjoy this time of the year, every year. Let us all remember the times of
past, and focus on the many more good times to come. -He raise his bottle of rice
wine- May you all have a grand time during this anniversary, and here's to many
more celebrations to come! On behalf of myself, and the Nexus Atlas team, have a

This makes you wonder if these tremors have been going on far longer than you recently believed.

Times of old.

Sometimes in our lives, us old timers feel the need to reminisce. Tonight, was such a time. It started with just a few people
gathering, forming a line. By the time we were done, there were many people gathered around, talking about days of old.
It seems a good deal of things are missed. Maybe It was just a bunch of old folks rambling? Either way, it caused quite a
gathering. People young and old gathered, under one cause.
Sometimes it's nice to just remember how things were. However, let us not forget about the future. Perhaps there will
soon be things that will also be talked about for many years to come. Only time will tell, they say. I'll be watching.

A Marriage..? No! A Ball!

Ohullo, readers! Just today, Buyan Imperial Minister RebelMagic called for all citizens of Buya to come for an impromptu meeting in the Palace Courtyard. Everyone rushed there, even some from other kingdoms, to find out what the commotion was about.
RebelMagic started out discussing about Princess Lasahn's recent decision not to go through with the marriage proposal offered by General HanXin (as previously reported by Donjuan) and instead make her own decisions regarding Buya's future.
It has been decided now that Princess Lasahn should be able to make her own decisions in realms of love and set her own pace for marriage! To show that we all support her, a Ball will be held in her name. Keep an eye out for more, readers!

Arranged Royal Betrothal

Ever since the death of Emperor Aino Senshi, Buya's line of succession has been a doubt. This is due mostly because little has been talked about Princess Lasahn's ascension to a higher royal level.
While Buya Government still treats the subject with discretion and still mourns for the loss of Senshi, Han seems to already have interest in succeeding the empty throne and plans to have an arranged marriage between Han Emperor’s nephew and Buya heir. The “not so friendly” General HanXin used his favored diplomatic position to send the message to Lasahn informing the decision upon her marriage was already taken and without consulting her.

Message from Han Empire
Princess Lasahn,
On account of the recent events after the passing of your father and the untempered attitudes of you and your people since that sad day to Buya history, the Han Emperor requests your marriage to his youngest nephew in hopes to help constrain the imminent havoc that your nation faces.
Although he's still young, Lord Geumwa shall be a key person to restore the order within Buya and approach our governances again, a role your father did very well. Lord Geumwa shall arrive at Buya soon and together you two shall arrange the wedding ceremony to be held over the next few moons in which you shall also be crowned and recognized as King and Queen of Buya.

This whole situation leaves Buya in a very delicate situation. Will Princess Lasahn accept this arranged betrothal or will she disobey the request of Han Emperor?
As stated by HanXin’s post, Lord Geumwa shall arrive soon at Buya and citizens will have exclusive opportunity to meet and get to know this “soon to be King” as soon as he arrives, reported by Nexus Atlas team.

Phoenix apologizes for burning Hausson's soil

The episode reported by Erii of Hausson island being burned by Phoenix clan was not ignored by the authorities of both kingdoms. After Koguryo Ministry had already pronounced against the actions of the buyan clan and the dangerous consequences of their arson, BIA and Buya Ministry apologized in name of their kingdom.
After being marked as defiler of nature by Druids, Primogen Guerrund made a public apology to King M'hul, Koguryo, KRA and Oceana. Their kindred has worked to clean Hausson and donated supplies to restore the damage caused, a total of 2 thousand ginko wood, twice as much as was requested, according to Guerrund.
The request for forgiveness and attitude of Phoenix has calmed the tensions at both kingdoms and King M'hul made a public statement to Princess Lasahn communicating he accepted the apologies, but also stating he expects her to keep buyan clans more under her control from now on. Here's a copy of King M'hul's post:
Dear Princess Lasahn,
The actions of Phoenix clan of burning the lands of Hausson could very well be considered as an act of war. We were lucky to see that Buya Army and Buya Ministry were quick enough to contact us and clear your government from any official involvement in it.
Today, I was approached by Minister RebelMagic who apologized for Phoenix clan’s actions in name of Buya Government and offered help to restore the lands as amends for the damage caused. Phoenix clan Primogen and Primarch also approached me to apologize for their actions which were directed, according to them solely to a local rebel group who claim to act in name of Hausson’s interests. Phoenix donated 2,000 Ginko wood to assist repairing the destruction they caused.
The situation seems to be solved and thankfully none was greatly harmed, but I strongly recommend that you keep Buya clans bridled to your strict consent to avoid circumstances like this yet to come.

Wisdom star is coming!

The Wisdom star is approaching again next friday and together with it the beloved experience bonus that every hunter loves. The event marks the arrival of Nexus 14th anniversary (July 1st) and shall last from June 29th until July 4th according to Vyn's post on Dream Weavers board and the official site.
Anniversary swords and new wisdom clothes will also be available on the 29th.

A New General for the Buyan Imperial Army!

Ohullo, readers! Recently there has been a change of leadership to the Buyan Imperial Army. We are delighted to announce that General Lindy, after doing such great work with the Army thus far, has stepped down and handed the position to the dedicated Colonel Aurons.
Aurons accepted the position after a short ceremony and is now known as the 12th General of the Buyan Imperial Army. We were very glad to be able to get a short interview with him.
"A new era begins today, as we depart on the next Chapter of the Buyan Imperial Army."
Near to no better words have been spoken by a General yet. We know he will do a wonderful job as General and wish him all the luck in taming Buya and keeping it safe!

Journalist Integrity and the Hausson Fires

Ohullo, readers. We as Nexus Atlas reporters should always remain unbiased in our writings. As such, I am here to give you the full backstory of the threats made against Hausson and Salguod.
It began when Guerrund of the Phoenix Clan of Buya issued an investigation into Mayor Teikari of Kinung for allowing The Black Tide Crew to port and trade within Kinung. As suspicious as this is, Guerrund's investigation was soon over and he posted an official proclamation on the palace boards.
Still, President Salguod had not turned his back and issued another statement concerning Kinung. Although, we should all take his advice when he tells us that sometimes he says things just to hear himself! Is that true? It looks to be!
Understanding all of this and all the letters written by Salguod, Guerrund once again posted the results of his findings in the investigation into Kinung, Mayor Teikari, and The Black Tide Crew.
Still, this was not enough.. Hausson was burned, the land turned to obsidian and ash. The Phoenix Clan of Buya and Guerrund then wrote a letter and placed it on the palace boards for all to see, detailing what he had done.
With a full back story on the issues at hand, I hope you, the readers, can make your own decisions on what had happened.. Are you with Guerrund and his actions? Or are you appalled with the treatment of nature and an innocent town? Nexus Atlas will keep you informed.

Fires in Hausson

Hullo, readers. It is with a heavy heart that I bring you this news today. Lately, there have been threats made on the palace boards concerning Kinung, Mayor Teikari, the Hausson Army, and the Phoenix Clan of Buya.
As a bit of a back story, the Phoenix Clan of Buya had been conducting an investigation into Kinung and Mayor Teikari. During this, Salguod of the Hausson Army decided to take matters into his own hands, naming cakecakecake as Mayor of Kinung.
As a result of all this, through many posts and words thrown back and forth on the palace boards, the Phoenix Clan issued a warning.. continue and they would set Hausson alight. What was once thought to be merely ink on a paper soon proved to be more than just idle threats.
I had received a tip that there were some "interesting" things happening in Hausson. Expecting another rally under the Hausson Army, I went to go investigate.. What I had found though was scorched land, trees and rocks turned to obsidian and ash beneath my feet. I walked through the small town, kicking aside bigger pieces of rock and moving piles of ash out of my way. Around the inn, the middle of the town, Guerrund, Primogen of the Phoenix Clan of Buya, sat with a few of his clan members. It wasn't long after the shouting had died down that the Primogen of the Destiny Clan of Kugnae, Healerofdoom, showed up and got into a verbal war with Guerrund.
Many of the members of the Phoenix Clan insulted Healerofdoom and other bystanders, choosing to argue instead of apologize for the blatant burning of Hausson. In the end, the members of the Phoenix Clan fled back to their home with Guerrund. Healerofdoom warned them in the name of Koguryo and the King as well as the Druid's for disrespect to nature.
Healerofdoom, erii, Yoshiku, and Ushallfeerme stayed to sweep aside the ashes and obsidians, cleaning the town of the damage done by Phoenix's mighty flames. Is this the end of the conflict between Hausson and Phoenix? I am not so sure, readers..
