'Momma is back:' Jolie appointed Imperial Minister

This evening, Queen Lasahn announced the appointment of Jolie as Imperial Minister, taking the place of Sansimus. We met in the Buya Throne Room to discuss the kingdom and ministry's direction. Joining us were the Archon of Buya, Frici, Queen Lasahn, Prince Daeso, General Neji, Reanalla, Flit, PoeTxi, and Brine.
To start, congratulations on your appointment. This is your third tenure?
Jolie: It is.
Did you ever think you'd be holding the staff again?
Jolie: No, but I felt summoned to it. I want to tell you something about Buya. Buya is a family. We love our culture. Why, look. We have a gorgeous queen. And also, I have an amazing staff. This one. [Referring to Reanalla] And, my Brine. And my Poe. Neji, as well. We are Buya; united.
Frici: And a Frici.
Lasahn: We are nothing without honor and personality.
It does take an entire staff of willing and dedicated people to govern a nation and keep things alive. Culture. Unity. I met very recently with the former Imperial Minister, who spoke of a desire to promote unity in the kingdom. What is your vision for Buya?
Jolie: I want to tell you one thing -- The Imperial Ministry of Buya is the moment. We are going to rub our activity in the faces of everyone. Momma is back.
How will you be addressing concerns of morale and disharmony in Buya?
Jolie: What morale and disharmony? Look at what we have. A Prince. A Queen. Buya is the best kingdom.
Daeso: I think you are mistaking that for Koguryo.
Lasahn: We are clearly united in support of Jolie. The only people who do not find success in this kingdom are people who are disingenuous and do not promote our beliefs in honor, generosity, kindness, and a firm moral standing. Those who treat others well, will be treated well.
What do you have planned, when it comes to activities?
Reanalla: As far as activities go, we have many new things up our sleeves, and they're big sleeves. For starters, you may have heard of our day-long festival celebrating Buya and all its clans coming up soon. What you may not know yet is it will conclude with an event that is very special to us, and will be new to the community. We are putting so much time into it to make it personalized and perfect. We're not a hundred percent on the name yet, as of right now, but there will be more on that later.
There was mentioned the idea of Buya being a "family" earlier in this interview. What constitutes a family, in your words? What qualities?
Jolie: These ones. Do you know how lucky I am to have these amazing people? She [Reanalla] keeps me in check. My Queen reminds me of the good things. Flit also keeps me in check. Listen, if you want to write about us, write that we want to support culture.
What is the culture you're out to propagate?
Jolie: We're going to shake things up. We don't want to be boring. We're going to light it up.
Reanalla: I hope when you see our new events, you will be able to see our vision for the future. Don't want to spoil the surprises!
Queen Lasahn, do you have any statements you'd like to give the public, regarding the appointment, or the state of Buya?
Lasahn: I'm excited to see what Minister Jolie and Reanalla will bring to Buya.
Prince Daeso, do you have anything to add?
Daeso: What mother said. I am excited to see this next chapter for the Imperial Ministry under the leadership of Imperial Minister Jolie.
And as the God of Buya has graced us with his lovely presence, does the Archon Frici have anything to say?
Frici: I am very happy and love my Buyan family. I love helping each person shine like the Jewel of Buya. Each facet is a beautiful face of [a] nation. This is all.
Thank you, Great Lobster King. I also look forward to seeing Buya flourish, and am excited to see what's in store for the Shining Jewel of the East.
As former Imperial Minister PoeTxi was present, I took the opportunity to ask her an additional question after the meeting had concluded.
What would the ministry like to see when it comes to building up the community of Buya, in terms of its familial culture and presence?
PoeTxi: Something Her Majesty has really been adamant about during my time in the Ministry is bringing open dialogue to Buya. One initiative she's been working on is the Fireside Forum. I'm really looking forward to continuing that series! I see those conversations as a way to build our community in a truly authentic and safe way. In more superficial ways, of course fashion is always on the IMB's mind with the fashionable Jolie Ja'Myne as Imperial Minister. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of that. Imperial Minister Sansimus put a lot of exciting progress into motion, and Jolie is a woman of action!
Best wishes to Buya and the staff of the Imperial Ministry. We look forward to the upcoming changes and activities the kingdom has in store, and appreciate your time, effort, and dedication.

Colorful and mysterious eggs; Subpath ugprades

Hey folks!
Happy Easter Sunday [evening] to you all. We had some much anticipated updates, not only with the seasonal event but with a great deal of subpath additions (which for some reason were not mentioned in the Dream Weaver post).
I'll start with the returning feature that the public can enjoy together in celebrating the spring major event:
Regular Easter Event is back! Many different color eggs spawn on the floor all over the kingdom. Opening them will give you a small surprise sometimes. Things such as pirate coins, regular coins, and some random items were reported.
** WARNING ** When opening some eggs, it can give you stats! Be careful if you are maxed a certain carnage or cave.
Sometimes when cracked open, you may receive something special other than the candy eggs. (Thanks to Lancin)
Rare: Zibong blade, Book of Song
Uncommon: Pirate coin's, Gold, Stats
Common: Creme-filled egg
Honey-filled egg
Fruit-filled egg
White chocolate egg
Special eggs that come from the color eggs include:
Creme-filled egg: Casts [unaligned] Desperate attack (50 Rogue attack).
Honey-filled egg: Casts [unaligned] Whirlwind (99 Warrior attack- WARNING: It brings you down to 10 vitality).
Fruit-filled egg: Casts [unaligned] Harden body (85 Poet temporary invincibility spell- WARNING: It can fail just like regular Harden body).
White chocolate egg: Casts an invoke which does not give you aethers.
Tokki needs help collecting Mysterious Eggs!
1. Talk to Tokki outside of Buya -OR- Kugnae Palace
2. Tokki will ask you for help three times! There are mysterious rabbits  all over the kingdoms that drop the eggs.
- Collect 1 Mysterious Egg 
- Collect 20 Mysterious Egg
- Collect 50 Mysterious Egg
Note* You can only hold 50 Mysterious Egg at one time
3. Once you have helped him three times you will receive a legend mark and depending on your path a new spell for a limited time.
Warrior/Rogue/Mage will receive "Easter Revival" (Self-ressurection spell, 3,000 aethers)
Poets will receive Easter Orb of Sul Slash (60 second, similar to mage's orb)
Credit to Uzeal, siulet, and Nobrows
Also it is confirmed that with the Easter reset, most subpaths got new hunting spells as part of the balancing efforts being done by Kru.
So far it is confirmed that Chongun, Druid, Merchant, Muse and Shaman have obtained new spells.
If you are a member of any of these subpaths you should check with your Elder or Guides to get information about them. It also seems like a great moment in Nexus to re-register to check out new spells. The last major update to subpaths like this happened over 15 years ago.

New Imperial Minister hopes for a new "Golden Age"

The Imperial Ministry of Buya is celebrating the appointment of its newest Minister, Sansimus. Taking a break from the influx of duties and pending security concerns, we met in the throne room of the Buyan palace to talk about his plans.
General Neji, minister rhodakins, and friend KoiMermaiden looked on from the side as silent sentinels for the duration of the interview.
So, first off, congratulations on your appointment as Buya's current Imperial Minister.
Thank you very much!
What sort of direction do you think is in store for the ministry?
The ministry has high hopes and intentions of sending Buya into its next "Golden Age."
What is your vision for this "Golden Age?"
Bringing it back to its former glory by producing more events and providing and promoting unity with all of the Buyan clans. We have hopes that folks will want to be Buyan... again. We currently have several large events in the works to promote this unity. Our team and its being put together is a strong front into achieving our goals.
What sort of projects?
Currently, we are planning "Buya Days." This is an event where all Buyan clans will open their doors and host (2) events each, as will the ministry. Additionally, we have a very special "Royal Sunset Runway" event planned, that will include the community to select tire for the Royals of each kingdom. With aid [he looked up] from the folks up top.
Sounds like a fun time, inbound!
These events should bring unity, not only to Buya, but all the kingdoms. Us Buyans, we are proud people. It is my intentions to boost their morale.
That segues into my next question, actually. What sort of culture do you wish to propagate in the kingdoms?
The ministry has a strong will for unity, as mentioned. We hope to bring smiles and joy that may have been lost over the Hyuls. I want the rich, proud culture that we all know and remember. A Buya that flourishes with glory. A place accepting of all walks of life. A place that folks want to flock to. I hope that answers the question.
What brought you to Buya, initially, as opposed to the other kingdoms?
My mother was brought here a very long time ago, against her will by a band of bandits. When I was just a young boy, I tried to pursue her. That's when I found the Monks. They helped me find her, and heal her when they did. She found homestead near the palace and raised me here. At that time, Buya was in full-glory and inspired me to stay.
Thank you for sharing your story. Do you have any additional messages you'd like delivered to the kingdom?
I hope that Buya believes in me as much as I believe in Buya! That is all.

'Roaring' Good News for Bear Clan
|
The news came over the heavens like thunder! Bear Clan announced the promotion of their new Primogen, Jeffer, succeeding Primogen Sarie.
Visiting the Bear Clan garden, the quiet Do stood next to the bear, Pappi, who was eager for the strange reporter to get out of their territory. Jeffer declined an interview, but the new Primogen wishes to tell the public, "I'm going to do my best to serve the clan, thank you."
When asked if there is anything else they'd like the world to know, they added, "I'm thankful for the community we have."

April Fools 2022: Humor on the Half Shell
|
The morning storms washed away the doldrums and unleashed bedlam. The denizens of the kingdoms found the world had gone topsy-turvy. Turtles, normally native to the depths of Gogoon, filled trees where squirrels had made nests, and spotted dogs traipsed about with the abandon of bunnies.
This could mean only one thing - it's April Fools!
"It's a rabbit!" chimed Diffidence, with supreme confidence.
"Something, something, we were 'barking mad,' and 'shell-shocked' to see all the changes... That was terrible," said BatSheba.
"It's unlike any event I have seen before. I think it's pretty interesting. I will say it was a pleasant surprise," spoke Chikuya.
The gods have also blessed us in this annual chaos, with transforming ordinary Wooden Sabers into fierce, ghostly blades again.
