Have you ever had interest in reporting the News at Nexus Atlas? Then here is your opportunity to work with Nexus TK's #1 source for information.
The applications for “Nexus Atlas Reporter” are open again. If you are interested in helping and feel you can handle such position, we welcome you to send a nmail to Vini asking for an application form. Please check below the qualifications required:
• Passion for news reporting and sharing information
• Good knowledge of nexus environment and important happenings/events/people
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Time availability to report at least once per week and witness long RP events
• Creativity and interest for deep researches
• Ability to work long hours under deadline pressure
• Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks
• Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently or as part of a team
• Eagle eyes to find news at the spot, instead of waiting them to pop on your desk
• Some familiarity image editing programs and perhaps with html language
Newly added Reporters will begin with a 3 months trainee period. After that, they can become full reporters or even become editors, like the recently promoted Guldar and Donjuan. Congratulations to both and we hope to announce some new reporters quite soon!

I was just sitting at East Gate Koguryo to find a bot account trying to catch fish in the middle of sand! Goes to show that if you try to bot you will get caught, don't do it. Something will go wrong and this will happen at East Gate...

The servers were reset tonight, with the following information being posted by GM Stein on the Dreamweaver board:
* The Valentine's butterflies and items have disappeared for the season as has the quest to send another player a Valentine
Minor updates for:
- Do subpath~ Private
- Ranger subpath~ Private
- Alizarin clan~ Private
- Merchant subpath~ The Helpers in the Merchant Grand Hall can now offer the following additional services: Selling the Knowledge of Wealth path scroll, Sell Wine, Sell Yellow scrolls, Sell or Cash Checks, and Mass Exchange services. It's like a real Marketplace in there!
- Diviner subpath~ Private
- Druid subpath~ Druid Runes for Ovate rituals were made more portable, by allowing the bearer to combine the sixteen Runes into a lovely carrying baggy.

Sadly Buya server is down again, please try not to enter
as your character will remain stuck there until either KRU
sorts it out or a server reset comes along.
To those of you who are stuck there hopefully this isn't

Who will be your valentine?

At this Valentine's Day the quest reward isn't for you to enjoy, but your valentine(s). The color of the heart is of your choice. It has 50000 durability, 10m10 damage, 1 Hit and 5 regen. Are you interested in obtaining one? Then, who will be your valentine?
Here is the walkthrough:
1. Go to Buya coordinates 014,133 and talk to either the old man or the shaman there, you'll be given a valentine's ribbon.
2. Find Dashae in the tent at Kinung southeast (082,072) and she'll turn your valentine's ribbon into a Pink Heart.
3. Optional: If you want your heart to be any color other than pink, find the Muse at Islets (051,005) and she'll change the color of your heart at a cost of any song or poem that you can buy from the Kugnae's Baek shop (017,012).
4. Go visit Paryu Messenger at Buya (096,130) and he'll charge you 5000 coins to send out your heart to your valentine. Your valentine shall receive a parcel box and should pick it up at her kingdom's Messenger. The new "weapon" comes with a special engrave which allows your name to be at the items name in example: Mhul's Valentine.
This quest can be repeated multiple times for those who wish to have multiple valentines. Look at you, sending hearts to 3 other people. Player, please!

The Feast of Saint Valentine

Its Valentine's day in Nexus and to celebrate it, all the lovely butterflies returned to the cities bringing lots and lots of goodies which we all love to eat. Just say "I love you (Red/White/Pink) butterfly." and receive a valetine gift. Please just spare the butterfly who lives around the Tree of Reflections or else Muckish, I and the entire Geomancers path will hunt you down!
Which of these goodies are your favorites?
The butterflies will drop one of these items:
 Valentines Flower - For holding
 Chocolate heart - Share a kiss with your partner!
 Red Candy Box - Dance with your partner!
 Chocolate Cake - Gives you 100% vita fill

Experience Bug came but is now fixed

Going from level 1 to 99 with just 1 kill: that surely would be the dream of every new nexus adventurer. Now imagine getting max experience with just 1 kill as well? How awesome could that be? Wait... throw in that you can get it in PK area which means, you don't have chance to lose BODs or get items damaged. Seems like a dream come true?
Well it did come true, but can be the dream of many was actually the nightmare of Stein and a bug of nexus.
Today, after implementing Nexus client patch version 7.02, a serious bug hit our community which allowed what was mentioned above to happen.
It didn't take long for another reset to happen which stopped the bug, but quite few people took advantage and bug abused. As posted by GM Stein at community board and Dream weaver, those who were only affected by the bug for 1 max, shouldn't worry about it, but those who abused the bug will have a chance to undo the harm without being charged with "bug abuse" by submitting a ticket to support system.

If you were affected by the experience bug today and are above level 99 and you only got max experience one time, you may keep/sell this experience.
If you maxed multiple times and sold experience or were under level 99 and instantly became level 99 please submit a support ticket. We'll be working through the logs to restore people to what they should be.

If you got non-legit experience from the bug, be quick to send the ticket, you surely don't want to be confused and charged with being "bug abuser" and we surely don't want to have the GM spend hours and hours of his time working on fixing stats, while he could be using that time to implement clan/subpath requests and other new features.

Client Patch brings Expandable Group Tab

It seems dreams really do come true, and that the Dreamweavers really do listen... sometimes. For a long time now, players have been complaining about wanting the Group panel to expand like our Inventory or Spell lists, and that dream is now a reality. If you open your Group Tab by pressing "f", you can click the little Down arrow to expand your panel to accomodate up to twelve (12) group members. Maximum group size is still thirteen (13) though, so someone has to be odd man out if you're at max size.
Here are the compact, old style panels.
 
And here are the new, improved, long style panels.
  If you don't like the larger panel, just click the little Up arrow and it goes back to normal. Also interestingly enough, once you have it in extended mode it will stay that way when you switch back and forth from Group Panel to Inventory or whatever else! Happy Hunting! Thank you to our lovely models, whose names you can plainly read in the pictures. If you like their work, please let them know, as I'm sure they would love to hear how pretty they looked on NexusAtlas News! Today Nexus celebrates its Lunar's New Year. At February 10th, the people of Korea celebrate the arrival of the year 4711. We now enter the year of the black water snake. The Year of the Snake comes around every 12 years.
Different from the solar calendar, the korean and chinese calendars use the lunar calendar which has 354 per year.
Curiosity: The last water snake year was 1953, exactly the year when Korean War ended.

New Sun Moon Primogen

After almost 5 years leading Sun Moon Sect, Primogen Muckish stepped down today and passed Primogen onto Dokara. The public announcement by Muckish was posted at community board:
Effective immediately, I, Muckish Xing-Normad'Or, have officially resigned as the Primogen of the Sun Moon Sect. It has been an honour to serve as the only elected Primogen of the Sun Moon Sect and to have spent 37 yuris (5 years) as the leader of my clan family.
To this day, I have not forgotten that I grew up within the clan that Genji founded but khaos built into what it is today. Primogen khaos but her faith in me many yuris ago and the accomplishments of my time as Primogen is in part due to her kindness and encouragement. I tried my best to walk in her footsteps and honour her legacy; and to this day the greatest compliment would be that I had done just that.
I am very proud of my clan family and after much thought, I am proud to leave it in the hands of one of our finest. One who I know will fulfil the role with honour and vigor, one who I trust and who I know will serve his family well.
I am pleased to announce Primogen Dokara as the 4th Primogen of the Sun Moon Sect. I look forward to seeing what he can do and where he will lead us in the days ahead. He has my utmost respect and as of today, my loyalty as my Primogen.

Last evening, the Bear clan also went through a leadership change. Primogen Arto has chosen to step down and trusted the position to Muse Tyrra.
The official announcement was world shouted by King M'hul while their kingdom was having their biweekly clan tribunal.
