Into Malgalod, Unto Bloody Underworld

Hey folks!
Another exciting expedition to Malgalod officiated by the Eternal Order and Royal Guard of Nagnang was held Wednesday evening, as announced prior on Community Events board:

To the community,
The bizarre activity in the Malgalod Encampment has not ceased. Our forces have been gathering intelligence this past month, watching and assessing the level of power the Malgalod forces have been amassing. We prior observed them having gotten the means to rip open the fabric of reality, and we cannot ignore this. Couple this fact with their swelling numbers, and we are looking at a matter of national security.
Our ruler, a paragon of strength, King ChaeRi,
will yet again be leading the charge into the Encampment.
We welcome the kingdoms' aid in battle.
We will see you on the steps of the Nagnang Palace Courtyard at the hour of the advance. ((12/29/2021, 10pm EST))

As the kingdoms reveled in winter activities, the Royal Guard of Nagnang continued to monitor the situation in Malgalod. Tensions were already high after the last excursion into the Encampment, where the enemy displayed the bizarre capacity to open up dimensional rifts and summon minor deities onto the battlefield. Later intelligence reports suggested this was merely a test for something bigger.

As the prior mouthpiece of the Malgalod forces had been slain in the last battle, the RGN’s forces and allies (including General Neji of the BIA, General CronxJr of the KRA, and Queen Yun) were met with the lilting voice of another figure commanding the enemy, named Talaghad. Whereas this foe never showed his face in person, he spoke in cryptic language about serving the whims of a “Black Beast,” and a figure only alluded to as “her.”
He demonstrated deranged fervor and utter delight in the slaughter of his own men.This absurd ritual involved massive amounts of bloodshed for the purpose of priming the earth to plant a “seed,” and the Malgalod forces were being sacrificed. Baiting King ChaeRi, General Heira, and their powerful allies there was part of the plan to see this happen.
Once Talaghad deemed the amount of blood spilled was sufficient, the allied forces found themselves sucked into a hole in the ground, leading to a veritable rift in reality. In the confusion, they traversed through scarlet-soiled tunnels and ruins. They battled reanimated skeletons in the depths and darkness. Boulders spoke riddles, and wooden horses in a dead pasture were brought to life to further befuddle the matter.

The final destination was a vast, flat field Talaghan suggested was the place for the “seed” to grow. Angry, serpentine spirits erupted out of the blood-soaked loam and swarmed in repeated, escalating waves. But, the combattants were able to sustain the barrage, much to the frustration of the enemy.
In Talaghad’s delirium, he ripped a hole in this strange dimension and plunged everyone out, where they emerged into the safety of Nagnang’s borders. He was last heard yelling, “S lor, youi jto rmjo. WE AREN’T DONE YET!”
Several questions remain. Who is Talaghad, and the “Black Beast” whom he serves? Who has taught these dark arts to the Malgalod forces? What is the “seed” they seek to plant? To what end is all this sacrifice happening, and what will come next?

A Grand Christmas Treasure Hunt

Friends, I would be saddened deeply if I didn't share this event with you, and so I've included my Community Events post here for your awareness. I hope you all can come and join us in what I believe will be a great time!

Friends and family, gather 'round and hear the tale I'll be
sharing, for you'll not want to miss it. Upon rummaging
through some old manuscripts and scholarly journals... I've
come across an interesting find - I do believe interesting
find downplays it quite a bit, however... through this
search, I've managed to uncover a rather dusty book long
past forgotten.
The book, not really much to look at, with the worn binding,
and muted color, I typically pass over each time I uncover
it, but this time, it was a little different...
It was late on the eve of the winter solstice, when a
sparkling erupted from the face of the book upon picking
it up. For all the years this book has been in my holding,
I've not once recalled the name of the tome, but now it is
all I can think about - "The Spirit of Christmas."
A nagging pull drew me to the book, an unrelenting draw
begged me to open it, and a persistent curiosity lured me
to begin reading. It didn't take long for me to realize...
that reading the book was but the beginning of a...
G R A N D C H R I S T M A S T R E A S U R E H U N T

Buyan Royalty and Tiger Clan horsing around!

Earlier today, a small battle erupted between the Tiger Clan and the Buyan Royalty.
Initially, Queen Lasahn threatened to give Primogen Linuxkiddy coal in the workshop. The Primogen then sent the Queen coal, in which she then sent island mud. Next, a golden toilet was sent to the Queen, and then the Queen responded with rhino meat, honey, and dog breath.
Then, the Buyan Royal Palace was egged. The Buyans responded with dumping smelly Ogre fish throughout the Tiger garden.
The Tigers then returned the fish, along with two dead bodies, which were fortunately fake. There was also a HIT placed in the throne room!
Finally, the Buyan's ended the feud by sneaking into the Tiger Clan and summoning horses and goats throughout their hall.
 At this point, the Primogen and the Queen called a truce. A fun night was had by all! The Primogen, however, may still be getting coal in his stocking tomorrow. Or was it a foal...?  -Scribed in paint by linuxkiddy- |

Maybe I'm A-MAZE-d

It's the most Won-der-ful time, of the YEAR! That's right folks, it's time again for Santa Royals! Thank you for the Royals and Archon staff for putting these on each year. I know it's a significant coordination to make it happen, but it does not go unnoticed.
In anticipation of the festivities, my buddies and I had a little fun practicing our queueing up skills! In just a few short days, we'll be able to see our labor paying off in droves.
Remember, you will want two empty slots in your inventory to receive your gift. Also, even though there are three separate times to meet with Santa, each character will only be able to receive a single gift.
