New Minister of Buya Appointed

The Minister of Buya Archdruid LostAndFound has announced his resignation of his position tonight after three months in office, as he felt he has accomplished his goals during this period.
As his successor he appointed Sayako to become the 15th Imperial Minister of Buya. Buya also had a new Ambassador appointed couple weeks ago, Junes.

Nexus Atlas congratulates Sayako on her new position and thanks LostAndFound for his short but meaningful contribution to the community as a Minister of a kingdom.

Another Reset for Winter Wonderland Content

Storms in the kingdoms introduced new content to the game tonight: People can now find the remaining time of their modulators exp boosts by pressing "U" to use it. Also, a new automated PvP game was introduced to Winter Wonderland's Townhall called Snow Fury, which consists basically in "u"sing 3 snowballs to hit others on arena. Wins the last person "alive", not the one who hits most, so practice your dodging skills.

Additional Santa Gifting Day

For those who missed out the chance of participating in Santa Royals event and didn't get their random gift this year, there will be another chance to do so in 2 days.



Archon Primogen Alilolelotte has announced on community board that Santa's helpers elfs will be giving out gifts again this coming Thursday, December 29 at 5:00pm PST / 8:00 pm EST.

To enter the Maze click the snowman that wait for you only at Kugnae's East gate.

Server Reset to Wisdom Star & New Mini-games

There was a server reset today that introduced the initial stage of Wisdom Star exp boost and two new mini-games to Winter Wonderland, called "Snow Flurry" and "Snow Frenzy". These can be accessed through Wonderland Townhall by clicking Keuti. Both new games give legend mark for participation/winning.

Snow Flurry

  • Snow Flurry is a game where you have to escape being hit by snowballs. There are snowmen that will try to hit you with snowballs , and your objective is to escape their attacks for 2 minutes!


    Snow Frenzy

  • Snowball Frenzy is a game where you have to hit 20 GREEN snowmen with snowballs. You will be given 20 snowballs only. So use them wisely. 'U'se to throw the snowballs.

    • All around the map there are small cave warps to help people navigate faster through the map. Also, there's a hidden entrance to Delightful tent near a mountain on northwestern part of the map. To use the hidden entrance simply stay near the location marked on the "m" map and wait for the door protection vortex to pull you in. Might be faster to just walk to the tent.

    All-New Winter Wonderland Quests

    Today, we received a reset, bringing an all-new winter wonderland with it. To access it, go to any inn and wait in one in the beds. In a short while, you will be warped to the Winter Wonderland. We will keep you posted as the wonderland is explored.

    So far people have been able to obtain three new legend marks from the event (two sets):


    The way to obtain them is described on the walk-through below. Here's a list of the quests available:
    Wony's Balloon Quest
    Living Gift Quest
    BingSu's Quest
    Disgrunted disbeliever's Quest
    Librarian Lancin's Quest
    SuBing's Quest
    Mr Cold Bones' Quest
    Lonely Baker's Quest


    Wony's Balloon Quest

    1) Go to Toasty Eats and enter it ((53,51) on the main map).

    2) Inside, click Canolly and choose Balooms for Wony's Party. Click through all the dialogues until you receive a Wony's Baloom. Note: you may wish to wield Wony's Baloom to avoid losing it.

    3) Go to Wonderland Caverns and enter it ((19,43) on the main map).

    4) Inside, go to (62, 10) and click the Wony NPC. You will receive a Wony's Gift which will give a Wony's modulator when used. Note: Wony's Baloom must be in your inventory and not wielded for this to work.

    Living Gift Quest

    1) Go to Delightful Tent and enter it ((72,18) on the main map).

    2) Inside, go to (8, 12) and click Living Gift. Click through all the dialogues and you will receive 5 Special Gifts.

    3) Go out and find other players to give the gifts to. Face them and use the gift to give it away. Give away all of them. Note: give at least one gift to the Jellypod if you want the other legend mark.

    4) Return to Living Gift and click through all the dialogue. You will receive a legend mark saying "Dreamed of joy and wonder (Hyul 84, Fall)". Note: you will have the option of receiving the legend mark "Dreamed of sorrow and discord (Hyul 84, Fall)" instead if you gave at least one gift to the Jellypod.

    BingSu's Quest

    1) Go to BingSu's Warm Tent and enter it ((49,18) on the main map).

    2) Click BingSu. Click through all the dialogue and agree to help. BingSu will ask for 5 Holiday Cloths.

    3) Go to Wonderland Caverns and collect 5 Holiday Cloths from the mobs inside.

    4) Return to BingSu and click through the dialogue again to receive a Northern Sparkle. It is some kind of mantle.

    Disgrunted disbeliever's Quest

    1) Go to Unhappy Tent and enter it ((15,36) on the main map).

    2) Click Disgrunted disbeliever. Click through all the dialogue and tell them to come with you. You will receive a Disbeliever's hat.

    3) Go to Northern Lights and enter it ((61,5) on the main map).

    4) Walk around until you get a popup(A time sensitive popup that only pops up at 1/3/5/7/9/11 in game time. Also can't be given when on a mount.) and click through all the dialogue. The stairs seem to a good area to get it. You will receive a Staff of Ice. It appears to be a 2-handed staff that you can wield.

    Librarian Lancin's Quest

    1) Go to Polar Reads and enter it ((68,44) on the main map).

    2) Click Librarian Lancin. Click through all the dialogue.

    3) Gather 5 Snowflakes, 5 Snow angels, 5 Blue stardrops, 5 Red stardrops, 5 Yellow stardrops, 5 Green Stardrops, and 5 Purple stardrops. These can be found all over the main map, either on the floor or from item drops.

    4) Return to Librarian Lancin and click through all the dialogue again. You will receive a Wonderland mantle.

    SuBing's Quest

    1) Go to Polar Reads and enter it ((68,44) on the main map).

    2) Go to (18, 8) and click SuBing. Click through all the dialogue and agree to help. You will receive a Detailed Dress requirements.

    3) Go to Wonderland Caverns and enter it ((19,43) on the main map). Walk to (15, 10). Kill the targetable plants in the vicinity and collect 5 Starlights from them.

    4) Go to Home of the White Witch and enter it ((76,61) on the main map). Go to (13, 7) and say tamed winds. Click through all the dialogue and agree to help. You will receive Super Hot Cocoa. Go to (40, 11) on the main map. You will receive Grin Dye. Return to the White Witch and say tamed winds. Click through the dialogue. You will receive a Tamed wind.

    5) Find a Fern branch somewhere on the main map, and go to Tiny house and enter it ((121,29) on the main map; use the path at (117,33) to get into the valley). Click Small Wonder inside. Click through all the dialogue to receive a Fern extract.

    6) Go to (107, 56) on the main map. Walk to (96, 36). Walk up to a Sugarplum faerie. Click them. You will receive a Sugar plum. Do this 3 times so you will have 3 Sugar plums.

    7) Go to Fine Smithings and enter it ((65,51) on the main map). Click Tink Pae and buy a Steel wire.

    8) Go to Fancy Stitch and enter it ((50,44) on the main map). Click ShiShi. Click through all the dialogues. Go to Toasty Eats and enter it ((53,51) on the main map). Click Canolly and buy a Hot cocoa. Return to ShiShi and click through all the dialogues again. You will receive ShiShi's note.

    9) Return to SuBing and click through all the dialogues. You will receive Outfit specifications.

    10) Return to ShiShi and click through all the dialogues. Go to Toasty Eats and enter it ((53,51) on the main map). Click Canolly and buy a Hot cocoa. Return to ShiShi and click through all the dialogues again.

    11) Return after 30 minutes to receive a Wonderland suit or Wonderland dress.

    Mr Cold Bones' Quest

    1) Go to Cozy Abode and enter it ((17,7) on the main map).

    2) Click Mr Cold Bones. Click through all the dialogues and agree to help.

    3) Gather a Santa's hat, Santa's mittens, Santa's boots, and Santa's suit. These can be found all over the main map, either on the floor or from item drops.

    4) Return to Mr Cold Bones. Click through all the dialogues. You will receive a legend mark saying "Brought warmth to Cold Bones (Hyul 84, Fall)".

    Lonely Baker's Quest

    1) Go to Icy House and enter it ((9,61) on the main map).

    2) Walk to (8,8) and click Lonely baker. Click through all the dialogues. You will receive a Bakers Net.

    3) Wield the Bakers Net and kill 5 Gingerbread men with the Bakers Net on the main map.

    4) Return to Lonely baker. Click through all the dialogues. You will receive a Bakers cake.

    So far people have been able to obtain two new legend marks from the event. The way to obtain them is described on the walk-through above.

    Server Reset and Patch to V7.42

    The storms hit the lands of the winds again and few hours a new reset and client patch to Nexus Version 7.42, introducing a whole new Winter Wonderland area. To reach the event area simply go to any inns and sleep on one of the beds.

    We hear great news coming from the inns!

    It appears that inn keepers are going out of their way to make sure that visitors find their stay a pleasant experience; candles are lit, dinner is ready and beds are thoroughly fluffed. In fact, more and more travelers are reporting that beds were so comfy that they experienced wondrous dreams!

    So, be sure to check out local inn near you and experience it for yourself!

    This all-renewed Winter Wonderland brings new quests, new legend marks and new creatures, but still will have those annoying drawing-like monsters to annoy you there.

    Monk's Memorial in honor of LiShen

    Nexus community lost yet another star. LiShen has passed away last weekend as sadly announced by Valandil on communtiy board. For those who didn't have the honor of knowing her, she was a former Monk elder for three years (2008-2011) and a prominent member of the Lost Kingdom clan. LiShen also helped briefly here at Nexus Atlas a Monk news reporter.



    Yesterday evening the Monk Sangha held a memorial for LiShen at Lotus Dojo on Monk Garden with a Buddhist ritual. Jasna was kind enough to share one of her personal mementos screenshots to register beautiful homage done to another player who is going to to be missed dearly.



    Rest in peace LiShen, you'll be truly missed by your friends, fans and admirers.

    The Walk in Vigil - Logorin's Memorial Evening

    A beautiful ceremony was held in Koguryo tonight where more than 70 people came to pay homage to Logorin who passed away couple weeks ago. With a colorful and flowery pathway from north gate Kugnae, people walked towards the Bear Clan Garden where they gathered to begin the walk in vigil.



    Carrying candlelight at nightfall, the citizens and friend of Logorin paraded towards east, entering the Tiger clan hall where he was once Primogen of for a brief period and then moved southeast reaching Dae Shore. From there people entered the Immortals Gateway's Chongun area and gathered at Heavens Ascent mountain. There, people gathered in circle to voice their appreciation for everything Logorin has done for the Nexus Community and remember the great moments of joy and wisdom, which they shared with our fallen friend.



    The one-hour ceremony counted with deep meaning speeches from Astrael, Vini Guide, Loxie, King M'hul, Xalmen, Amatus, RebelMagic, Tyrra, Ferro, Pitseleh, Living and Lancin. Among many wonderful words and moments shared about the importance of Logorin to our community, the final message in King MuHyul's speech summarizes the wishes of everyone present: "As we walked here in procession, we followed a path of stars and memories. I hope that he finds his place among the stars, and I hope that each of you will cherish your memories of him".

    Rest well Logorin, your beard will remain forever as a national treasure.

    Remembrance - Logorin with friends

    As posted by Bear's Primogen Astrael, today is scheduled to occur the homage memorial for Logorin, who passed away on Nov. 18th. There cerimonial service will begin at 8:00pm EST starting from Bear Clan's Garden before a walk in vigil to the Immortal's Gateway in Dae Shore.

    After then a Samurang Showdown, the Chongun's contest of Logorin's design. Any and all who have sentiments or memories to share are welcome to do so at the service, invited by Chonguns, Bear clan, Tiger clan and his closest friends.
