Today's server reset introduced Minor Quest Run week

The community asked for it and the Dream Weavers answered: a Minor Quest Run started today with the reset that happened this morning and will go until next Tuesday, January 29.
For those who are new with Minor Quest Runs, they basically allow you to do 50 minor quests per day, but only rewards with experience & daily coins those done every 12 hours like it is on normal days. The MQ Runs as they are popularly called are very helpful for those quests that require a minimum of minor quests completed, such as Sa san's Trial of Endurance.

Silla Clan's Primogen Shift

Last Thursday there has been another leadership shift in the lands of Nexus and this time it was within the Silla Clan of Nagnang. Primogen Akiudo has stepped down from his 5th term as leader of Silla Clan and has appointed Bommer to become the clan Primogen again on her second term.
Nexus Atlas congratulates Primogen Bommer on her new position and wishes her good fortune with returning to Primogen duties. A special thanks to Akiudo for his services to Silla Clan and Nexus community overall. |  |
Also, as a side note, be careful to not confuse Primogen Bommer of Silla Clan with Primogen BooMeR of Pegasus Clan, both in Nagnang. To make it easy to remember Pegasus' BooMeR is a male warrior and Silla's Bommer is a female rogue.

The first new Primogen of Dharma Clan in a decade

Last Tuesday, January 1st, the Nexus community witnessed one of the most important and remarkable Primogen shift which has ever occurred in these lands. Primogen CloverLeaf has stepped down from her position in Dharma Clan after Hyul 90 of service (11 years and 3 months / 135 months / 4125 days). This primogenship shift represents the end of an era not just for Dharma clan, but for the whole Nexus, as CloverLeaf was not just the longest-term Primogen, but also the longest-term person in any leadership position. CloverLeaf has been in Dharma clan since 2003 and a member of Dharma Council since 2005.
With such a long time in leadership of Dharma clan, it is natural to say that the decisions taken under CloverLeaf leadership have shaped the clan as it is nowadays. Over the years she conducted multiple administrative and policy changes to the clan. She led the revamp of 5 rooms including the main hall, clan garden, council chambers, clan office, and the timbers lodge. She was also ahead of the creation of the Clan's grove, setting multiple new warps and hiring many new clan workers (NPCs). All that was achieved with hundreds of clan hunts, kingdom-wide events and more that she held along with many other dedicated kindred.
Among the dozens of dedicated kindred through the years, there was a special one that was essential to help keep things rolling. A Primogen cannot survive so long in such position without a dedicated and loyal Primarch to her side and here is when this tribute news story turns to its second and equally protagonist: CheharraZade.
For most of those years as Primogen, CloverLeaf had CheharraZade as her constant right hand, a good friend and sense of reason. CheharraZade became Primarch in August 2010, and although we do not track Primarch terms with Nexus Atlas news, it's safe to say that CheharraZade is one of the people who served as Primarch for the longest, if not THE longest as well. CheharraZade joined the Dharma council in 2008 and since then has faithfully served the clan and the community assisting with hundreds of events as well. The heroic years of dedication by CheharraZade were essential for CloverLeaf to remain Primogen for so long, as a leader can only be good if they have great people to assist them along the way and CheharraZade was that. She served with great effort to serve her clan in her long-lasting position, representing it multiple times and being a reference of the clan for their members and the community as a whole.
"It has truly been an honor and a pleasure to serve, on the Dharma Clan Council under the wing of our Primogen CloverLeaf, I thank her for seeing in me someone she could trust and depend on during good times and rough patches. We've had our fair share of both. It hasn't been hard working with CloverLeaf. In fact, I rather enjoyed tagging along behind her or standing side by side with her at events or while hunting or pondering the great future of Dharma Clan. All the while learning everything CloverLeaf had to teach. She has been a great mentor and friend. We have worked together on many Dharma projects, working as a team. Communication has always been key. We seem to be able to communicate very well, and that's always a good thing. Luckily CloverLeaf and I seem to share 2 alike brains between us", said CheharraZade.
Their services to the Dharma clan and Buya kingdom as a whole are so important that Queen Lasahn chose to personally go to Dharma clan hall to congratulate CheharraZade on becoming Primogen and to thank CloverLeaf for all she has done over the years. However, such gratitude is something they want to extend to multiple other people. "I want to give credit to my council over the years, as well as my Primarch and friend, Cheharrazade. Without all the people who have helped over the years, what we enjoy today would not have been possible. Their suggestions and assistance in hosting events to earn the points necessary to acquire these upgrades, their crafting skills and the donation of hundreds of items for buybacks, their generous gifts of time, money and commitment, have all contributed to the creation and nurturing of this wonderful clan, our hall and the amenities we enjoy today. I did not do it alone. It was certainly a clan effort", said CloverLeaf.
Now carrying the Dharma Clan staff CheharraZade has a whole new challenge ahead of her to keep the clan active and relevant after almost 20 years of its creation. "To be honest, at this time, I'm not sure what my plans are for the Dharma Clan as we move into this new era for the Clan. It's still early. We'll have to see what we come up with. I do know that as Primogen of Dharma Clan I will always strive to keep Dharma Clan on the same even keel that CloverLeaf did and ensure our members the safe and friendly clan that it's always been. My mind is open to suggestions. I have nothing written in stone, yet".
Nexus Atlas congratulates Primogen CheharraZade on her new position, wishes her good luck and good work with her new duties and thanks CloverLeaf for all her dedication to her clan and the Nexus community overall. We wish her good fortune in her future endeavors and in her retirement from Dharma Primogen. Now she will be busy with her new Primarch duties. The table has turned, but their dedication the clan will continue the same.
While some readers may be bothered by this lengthy news post to report that Dharma Clan has a new Primogen, after writing multiple news about leadership shift over the years, I must say this post is a recognition far less worthy than what they both deserve. Praised be those who truly devote their time to help Nexus.

Wonderland & Nightmareland Are Open Again!

REMINDER: You CAN die to the creatures in Wonderland/Nightmareland so please be careful!
The following is a repost of last year's Winter Wonderland walkthrough. It should still be accurate. Without further ado, here it is:
We received a reset, bringing Winter Wonderland/Nightmareland with it. To access it, go to any inn and wait in one in the beds. In a short while, you will be warped to the Winter Wonderland. We will keep you posted as the wonderland is explored.
So far people have been able to obtain three new legend marks from the event (two sets):
  
The way to obtain them is described on the walk-through below. Here's a list of the quests available:
Living Gift Quest
BingSu's Quest
Disgrunted disbeliever's Quest

Living Gift Quest
1) Go to Delightful Tent and enter it ((72,18) on the main map).
2) Inside, go to (8, 12) and click Living Gift. Click through all the dialogues and you will receive 5 Special Gifts.
3) Go out and find other players to give the gifts to. Face them and use the gift to give it away. Give away all of them. Note: give at least one gift to the Jellypod if you want the other legend mark.
4) Return to Living Gift and click through all the dialogue. You will receive a legend mark saying "Dreamed of joy and wonder (Hyul 84, Fall)". Note: you will have the option of receiving the legend mark "Dreamed of sorrow and discord (Hyul 84, Fall)" instead if you gave at least one gift to the Jellypod.

BingSu's Quest
1) Go to BingSu's Warm Tent and enter it ((49,18) on the main map).
2) Click BingSu. Click through all the dialogue and agree to help. BingSu will ask for 5 Holiday Cloths.
3) Go to Wonderland Caverns and collect 5 Holiday Cloths from the mobs inside.
4) Return to BingSu and click through the dialogue again to receive a Northern Sparkle. It is some kind of mantle.

Disgrunted disbeliever's Quest
1) Go to Unhappy Tent and enter it ((15,36) on the main map).
2) Click Disgrunted disbeliever. Click through all the dialogue and tell them to come with you. You will receive a Disbeliever's hat.
3) Go to Northern Lights and enter it ((61,5) on the main map).
4) Walk around until you get a popup(A time sensitive popup that only pops up at 1/3/5/7/9/11 in game time. Also can't be given when on a mount.) and click through all the dialogue. The stairs seem to a good area to get it. You will receive a Staff of Ice. It appears to be a 2-handed staff that you can wield.

Librarian Lancin's Quest
1) Go to Polar Reads and enter it ((68,44) on the main map).
2) Click Librarian Lancin. Click through all the dialogue.
 
3) Gather 5 Snowflakes, 5 Snow angels, 5 Blue stardrops, 5 Red stardrops, 5 Yellow stardrops, 5 Green Stardrops, and 5 Purple stardrops. These can be found all over the main map, either on the floor or from item drops.
    
4) Return to Librarian Lancin and click through all the dialogue again. You will receive a Wonderland mantle.

SuBing's Quest
1) Go to Polar Reads and enter it ((68,44) on the main map).
2) Go to (18, 8) and click SuBing. Click through all the dialogue and agree to help. You will receive a Detailed Dress requirements.
3) Go to Wonderland Caverns and enter it ((19,43) on the main map). Walk to (15, 10). Kill the targetable plants in the vicinity and collect 5 Starlights from them.
4) Go to Home of the White Witch and enter it ((76,61) on the main map). Go to (13, 7) and say tamed winds. Click through all the dialogue and agree to help. You will receive Super Hot Cocoa. Go to (40, 11) on the main map. You will receive Grin Dye. Return to the White Witch and say tamed winds. Click through the dialogue. You will receive a Tamed wind.
  
5) Find a Fern branch somewhere on the main map, and go to Tiny house and enter it ((121,29) on the main map; use the path at (117,33) to get into the valley). Click Small Wonder inside. Click through all the dialogue to receive a Fern extract.
 
6) Go to (107, 56) on the main map. Walk to (96, 36). Walk up to a Sugarplum faerie. Click them. You will receive a Sugar plum. Do this 3 times so you will have 3 Sugar plums.
7) Go to Fine Smithings and enter it ((65,51) on the main map). Click Tink Pae and buy a Steel wire.
8) Go to Fancy Stitch and enter it ((50,44) on the main map). Click ShiShi. Click through all the dialogues. Go to Toasty Eats and enter it ((53,51) on the main map). Click Canolly and buy a Hot cocoa. Return to ShiShi and click through all the dialogues again. You will receive ShiShi's note.
 
9) Return to SuBing and click through all the dialogues. You will receive Outfit specifications.
10) Return to ShiShi and click through all the dialogues. Go to Toasty Eats and enter it ((53,51) on the main map). Click Canolly and buy a Hot cocoa. Return to ShiShi and click through all the dialogues again.
11) Return after 30 minutes to receive a Wonderland suit or Wonderland coat.

Mr Cold Bones' Quest
1) Go to Cozy Abode and enter it ((17,7) on the main map).
2) Click Mr Cold Bones. Click through all the dialogues and agree to help.
3) Gather a Santa's hat, Santa's mittens, Santa's boots, and Santa's suit. These can be found all over the main map, either on the floor or from item drops.
   
4) Return to Mr Cold Bones. Click through all the dialogues. You will receive a legend mark saying "Brought warmth to Cold Bones (Hyul 84, Fall)".
Reward:

Lonely Baker's Quest
1) Go to Icy House and enter it ((9,61) on the main map).
2) Walk to (8,8) and click Lonely baker. Click through all the dialogues. You will receive a Bakers Net.
 
3) Wield the Bakers Net and kill 5 Gingerbread men with the Bakers Net on the main map.
4) Return to Lonely baker. Click through all the dialogues. You will receive a Bakers cake, which restores full vita/mana and can be used once a day.

First, within the Dreamcatcher and Dreamslayer buildings are new NPC's: LIora and Llora!

Saying 'Peace out' to either of them will transport you to either Wonderland or Nightmareland for convenience!
Secondly, There are multiple new and fun quests that can also be completed in Wonderland and offer a few fun rewards:
QUESTS:
Frosty Union: (Snowmen are labeled 1-10 on the main map above)
As you wander about Wonderland, you find a cave that leads to the Union Leader  (122,19) He doesn't seem to want to speak to you at first, but 'u'sing a Magical Snowflake makes him more than eager to chat!
He requests your aid in bringing back 10 Snowmen who seem to have become unhappy; Luckily, they don't seem to ask for much before they happily return:
From Left to Right they are: Drowsy, Peppy, Waity, Crunchy, Freezy, Grouchy, Holly, Pickly, Teary, Candy.
Drowsy wants Santa's Hat and gives you a Snowman Package in return! 
Peppy gets Coal
Waity has been waiting for the Snowman Package
Crunchy would like some Crunchy Eggnog
Freezy is cold, bring him a Holiday Stocking
Grouchy is pleased with Hot Cocoa
Holly of course, likes Jolly
Pickly wants a Keiku
Teary would like some Pickled Lemonade
Candy wants a Mistletoe CandyCane
Once you have pleased all ten Snowmen, Return to the Union Leader to receive your Frosty Badge which when used turns you into a snowman! This item is permanent.
Making Wonderland Safe Again:
Find your way to Goldenbell's Tavern to speak with Goldenbell herself!
She asks that you slay 20 Ancient Snowstorms and 20 Ancient Snowflakes that can be found in the Wonderland Caverns (20,43).
When you've finished, return to her to receive your new  Legend mark!
Keuti needs help!:
Apparently, the Snowmen who help Keuti run the games in the Wonderland Townhall have gone on strike! She asks that you make 5 of them return to work!
Going to the Northern Lights you gather a bunch of the Dare Snowballs 'u'se these on the Snowmen and they will say a phrase that is specific to an item, 'u'sing the correct item will return them back to work!
 - Upside Down Frownie - "Leave me alone.. Can't... you.. see.. I am slee.. *snores* What, where, why? Is it morning already? I am going back to sleep."
 - Vial of Grace - "I will never tell you my name *Runs away* Nooo.. Please don't look at me. I will just run away.*Turns beet-red and freezes up* I... I am sorry, I was in the way of your snow"
 - SnowGlobe - "Hello everybody! How are you? Would you just jump with me? It's fun!What a beautiful and exciting day! I wish it would last forever!"
 - Puppy Charm - "Why does everybody look happy? What's there to be happy about..."
 - Very Strong Coffee - "It's so cold, I'm going to have a cup of.. Uh oh. Did I just drink a hot tea *plops on the ground* Oh-Oh! I've fallen and... I can't get up!"
 - IcyMirror - "Will you just leave me alone? I am just sick of all you people. What is the world coming to, you get hit for no reason. Now I have to clean up."
 - Lionheart Cookie - "I am the biggest and meanest! I am the terror of Nightmareland! Roar! Who dares to approach me! Face my wrath!"
Once you have returned 5 Snowmen, you will receive a Frosty Pie  which contains 10 slices of full mana/vita restore!
NIGHTMARELAND QUESTS
The twisted and turning of a terrible nightmare at any inn bed takes us to the Nightmareland we could barely have imagined!
With many new creatures around, one must be very careful as death in Nightmareland is very real and you will damage/break items as well as lose experience.
As you wake up in this new and terrifying land, you realize quite quickly that things are definitely not as safe as they are in Wonderland, so BEWARE as you fall asleep at an inn!!
So far people have received the following legend marks/rewards:

PART ONE: Restoring Spring
You enter Nightmareland and find yourself besieged by Cold Twisters, Snow Furrys and Blasts. You mix some of them together and watch the Blasts evaporate and receive a new  legend mark! ((To Evaporate Blasts: mix 2 Cold Twisters to create a Snow Furry, mix 2 Snow Furries to create a Blast, Mix 2 Blasts to evaporate them!))
PART TWO: Palace of the Seasons
As you wind your way through these you happen upon a beautiful Palace of the Seasons (93,15). Inside you find Lunghee  , she tells you that Spring has been frozen by the Frost Witch and that the lands are in peril, she asks for your aid in restoring Spring and of course you agree to help!
PART THREE: the Scared Elf
Leaving the Palace of the Seasons, you head west and run across Scared Elf  outside of the Toy Factory (49,27). You ask him about the Frost Witch, He tells you that the elves are being over-worked by Mr.FrostBite and that they cannot stop making toys until Spring returns!
PART FOUR: The Rat King
You continue to head west after speaking with the Scared Elf, and find yourself entering the Deepground Tunnels (3,38).
As you make your way through the Deepground Tunnels you happen across a beautifully decorated tree with a Rat King  (70,62) enjoying the feast, as he attacks you, you slay him and are rewarded with a new  legend mark!
PART FIVE: Fires of Below
You continue to investigate the tunnels and find an entrance that leads to the Fires of Below (48,66) where the FlameKeeper  awaits you.
Flamekeeper asks for the following items to help in feeding the Eternal fire that has become dangerously weak:
 - 20 Red Stardrops (found at Dragons in Wonderland; 114,60)
 - 5 Coal (found in Wonderland Caverns; 20,43)
- 1 Pickled Lemonade (found in Toasty Eats in Wonderland; 53,49)
Once he receives these items you will receive a Flicker of Flame  as well as a new  legend mark!
PART SIX: Friend or Foe?
You wonder what to do with this new Flicker of Flame and head to the Home of the Frost Witch (46,5), there you find two trolls Frostbelly and Frostbrow they seem hungry:
 Frostbelly would like A large piece of pie  (found in Tasty Eats in Wonderland; 53,49)
 Frostbrow would like a Sprucecone Pie  (found in Tasty Eats in Wonderland; 53,49)
After they are happily full, they tell you that the Frost Witch has dipped spring in very cold Ice! Off you go to collect some Snowangels  (found in Wonderland all over).
'U'sing the Flicker of Flame you begin to melt the Snowangel's one by one until you finally find Sleepy Spring!
PART SEVEN: Awakening Spring
You quickly return to Lungheein the Palace of the Seasons (93,15) and find out you need a flower to awaken her! A Daffodil  works wonderfully and thaws Spring  . As a reward you receive a Spring Bouquet  ((This is a weapon skin, equip to any weapon to continue walk-thru)).
PART EIGHT: Rescuing the Elves
You are bound and determined to save the elves from their enslavement by Mr.Frostbite  . You head to Mistletoe's Tavern (29,55) to see what you can find out there. Mistletoe  tells you all about her poor husband, the Head Elf Acto  and asks if you would bring him Mistletoe's Note  . She asks you about Signs of Spring and also warns you that in order to speak with Mr.Frostbite you will have to distract him. Knowing that the evil Mr.Frostbite loves gift but hates rats, you hurry off to gather:
 - 1 Green Wrapping Paper (any kingdom messenger)
Then you run back to Deepground Tunnels to wrap one of the Fast mice! (('u'se the Green Wrapping Paper when facing a Fast mouse to 'wrap it'.))
PART NINE: Frostbeard and his Vicious Pets
Having your distraction in hand, you make your way to the Toy Factory (46,23). However,you realize there is a guard with two Vicious Bunnies, but the bunnies look hungry and you seen some carrots  outside:
 - 15 Snow Carrots (from Hippy, Bashful, Grumpy, Moody Carrots)
You head back in and feed the bunnies who proceed to ignore you and speak to Mr.Frostbeard  , you tell him you have a present for Mr.FrostBite and he happily lets you by!
PART TEN: Final Acto?!
You see Mr.Frostbite greedily guarding his workers and gifts and quickly offer him the gift you had wrapped, once he faints from fear you speak to Acto ((you MUST have Spring Bouquet equipped to prove Spring has returned! He thanks you and invites you back to Mistletoe's Tavern (29,55).
Once you have returned to Mistletoe she offer's you a reward for all your help: Mistletoe's Gift  which turns out to be a lovely Nightmare Shroud  and a bit of experiance!
SIDE QUEST: Da Needs Help Decorating!:
Now, you explore the village and find yourself in Da's House, it seems quiet but when you say 'Hello',
Da  quickly responds with a plea for help in decorating her tree! She requires the following items to complete her decorations:
- 10 Red Stardrops (found at Dragons in Wonderland; 114,60)
 - 10 Green Ambers (gathered from Snow Bunnies)
 - 1 Candy Cane (gathered from Humanoids in Wonderland)
 - 3 Holiday Stockings (gathered from Humanoids in Wonderland)
 - 10 White Ambers (gathered in Wonderland Caverns; 20,43)
For helping her you will receive Da's Gift  , which contains some karma and experience!

The year 2019 has just started and the Nexus Atlas staff starts this new cycle wishing you all year full of peace, accomplishments, and joy. May our community continue to prosper and grow stronger in the months & stories to come.
