Global information on Nexus Kill Track system and Alliances
I. Alliance Intoduction
Fact: You can now get Kill credit while grouped.
Everyone in the group will get credit. This means you should be careful while you are
grouped because if anyone in the group kills something other than a boss your Kill
Track will record that kill as well. If you are doing a Greater Alliance and others
in the group are doing a Lesser Alliance, ask them not to kill anything else (example:
a mage may cast Inferno and kill creatures that will mess up your Greater Alliance).
Fact: When you start a Lesser or a Greater Alliance, it resets your Kill Track
to zero. Therefore, you can not use bosses from a previous alliance for the new one. If
you kill 3 Monkeys Avengers and 3 Spirit Monkeys and THEN go to the Mythic Tiger NPC to
start a Lesser Alliance, you will have wasted your time killing the 6 Monkey bosses.
II. Kill Track Explanation and Examples
The Nexus Kill Track records all of your kills as an array (list). It tracks the
creatures you kill and the number you kill of each creature. Your character information,
including your Kill Track list, is saved in the game database when you logoff. The Kill
Track saves ONLY the last 8 types of creatures you have killed. Each creature is a
kill type and the database will record up to 255 kills of a single creature.
For example, a Red hare and a Yellow Hare are two different kill types. You
can have 255+ Red Hare and 255+ Yellow Hare on your saved Kill Track record.
When you kill something, the kill type goes to the top of the array. If you
have killed this type of creature recently, then only the ranking number changes.
However if you have not killed that type of creature recently, the kill type goes
to the first position "pushing" the 8th ranked type in the 9th position. If you log
off at this moment, the 9th type of creature and the number you have killed of that
kill type will be wiped off your Kill Track.
Rank |

2. |

6. |

7. |

8. |

In the array above, we'll suppose the person is on a Lesser Alliance with Snakes.
If the person kills 4 new types of creatures and 10 more squirrels, the pig bosses
will be in positions 8 and 9 but the squirrel does not push them further down. For
this example the player has killed a Lesser Ghost, Brown Ghost, Lesser Skeleton and
Pale Zombie. If the character is saved at that moment, the bosses will be wiped off
of the Kill Track and the current count of Pig bosses will be lost.
[NOTE: You should never kill anything in another Mythic cave if you are on any
Alliance.]

If you log off at this point, you will lose both Pig bosses because they are not in the
saved Kill Track of 8 creatures. If the you kill 1 of each Pig boss before you
log off, the Kill Track becomes:
Rank |
Creature Type |
Number of Kills |
1. |
Pig Avenger |
3 |
2. |
Spirit Pig |
2 |
3. |

All you have to do while on an alliance, is make sure the bosses you kill always
stay in the first 8 positions, preferably in the top of the array. In the case shown,
the Snake NPC will check your array for Pig Avenger and Spirit Pig. This example is
for a player doing a Lesser Alliance with
Mythic Snake. If
there are AT LEAST 3 of each of Pig boss, the Snake NPC then looks in your inventory
for the items you were asked to bring. If the items are found, the Snake NPC will take
them and reward you.
Lesser Alliances
When doing a Lesser Alliance you need reserve 2 slots on your Kill Track record for
the 2 bosses the Mythic NPC asks you to kill. This means you can kill 6 other TYPES
of creatures (The number of CREATURES you kill has no importance). To take an extreme
example, you could have 3 Item bosses and 3 Key bosses on your track and 255+ Rabbit,
255+ Squirrel, 255+ Red Hare, 255+ Fox, 255+ Wolf, 255+ Cat. The Mythic NPC will still
accept your work and complete your Lesser Alliance without any trouble.
You CAN do multiple Lesser Alliances at a time. However, since starting the alliance
resets your Kill Track, you must FIRST start the alliance(s), THEN go and kill the
correct number of bosses. Although, doing two Lesser Alliances at a time will leave
your "free" kills at 4 types of creatures, doing three Lesser Alliances at the same
time will leave your "free" kills"at 2 types of creature, etc. You can do up to four
Lesser Alliances at a time but it leaves you no room for any mistakes.
If you want to hunt while you're doing a Lesser Alliance, you can hunt ANYWHERE except
in other Mythic caves. The mythic NPC you're allying with will NOT check what you
killed EXCEPT the bosses he asked you to kill. If you're allying with Dragons, you
can hunt in dragons doing while your Lesser Alliance. Just be careful as hunting in
dragon will already use 3 Types + Bosses = a maximum of 5 types. Mythic caves have
either 6 or 7 types of creatures if you include sentries.
Greater Alliances
On Greater Alliances, you have 6 different types of bosses to slay. This means you can
have 2 mistakes before it wipes out any of your previous boss kills when you logoff and
your character information is saved.
You may think this is all a mistake but if you kill four different types besides bosses
while on a Greater Alliance and you still succeed, well that's because you used a trick
without knowing it.
Trick for Greater Alliances:
While you are killing your bosses and by mistake kill three or more of creatures not
on your Greater Alliance list, do not panic (but be careful). Using the example above,
your Kill Track will be:
Rank |
Creature Type |
Number of Kills |
1. |
Squirrel |
1+ |
2. |
Rabbit |
1+ |
3. |
Boss A - Avenger |
3 |
4. |
Boss B - Avenger |
4 |
5. |
Boss B - Spirit |
2 |
6. |
Boss C - Spirit |
3 |
7. |
Boss A - Spirit |
5 |
8. |
Boss C - Avenger |
2 |
You must avoid killing another type of creature or you will have:
Rank |
Creature Type |
Number of Kills |
1. |
Fox |
1 |
2. |
Dark wolf |
1 |
3. |
Squirrel |
1+ |
4. |
Rabbit |
1+ |
5. |
Boss A - Avenger |
3 |
6. |
Boss B - Avenger |
4 |
7. |
Boss B - Spirit |
2 |
8. |
Boss C - Spirit |
3 |
9. |
Boss A - Spirit |
5 |
10. |
Boss C - Avenger |
2 |
BUT if you manage to kill one more boss of each type you have to kill BEFORE you
logoff your Kill Track will be as below:
Rank |
Creature Type |
Number of Kills |
1. |
Boss A - Avenger |
3 |
2. |
Boss B - Avenger |
4 |
3. |
Boss B - Spirit |
2 |
4. |
Boss C - Spirit |
3 |
5. |
Boss A - Spirit |
5 |
6. |
Boss C - Avenger |
2 |
7. |
Fox |
1 |
8. |
Dark wolf |
1 |
This shows that you are allowed two free kills.
Therefore if you kill something by mistake while on your Greater Alliance, don't panic!
Kill one boss of each type you need to slay which will "push" your mistake off the saved
Kill Track. It'll be like if you never killed the wrong type of creature!
You cannot start multiple Greater Alliances because no NPC will accept you as their
Champion while you are working for another.
Side note: As for Player Killing, it not known if a "player" counts as one
type, or if each "name (path)" counts as one type. Hopefully it'll count as "Player",
so you can kill any player you want and it'll only take one slot in your Kill Track.
If it's the other case... well avoid going to a Carnage while on an alliance heh!
You cannot kill yourself in the Vale - not even with summoned creatures!
Last Thing - Do NOT listen to players who say you can not kill MORE than the
number you're officially told to slay. You can kill 255+ of each boss for a Greater
Alliance and STILL succeed NO MATTER WHAT as long as the bosses are still in the 1 to
8 positions on your Kill Track.
Enjoy your Alliances, folks.
Moraghul.
