You need a mining pick and a mining shovel. It is not known at this time if there is a requirement before you start to mine. Charts for this skill do not exist yet. You can purchase picks and shovels from Thane in the Wilderness. You need to talk to the Mining NPC in Tangun to find out how to get these tools.

Woodcutting

You need a axe...LOTS of them since they break often. You can purchase axes at Splinter's Hut in the Wilderness or from an NPC on the east side of Tangun. You must be Level 12 or more plus be registered. Charts for this skill do not exist yet.

You can turn on auto-swing to save injury to your hands for this. DO NOT leave the keyboard - you may be jailed for "autohunting". Use shift + F12 to turn on "click to walk". Use the left mouse button to click a tree which will make you swing your axe. Use F1 to open a dialog box then press ESCape to close it. Now you will automatically swing without having to hold down the spacebar. To stop it, click somewhere else. You can read boards, chat with friends, etc. as long as you do not click anything outside a dialog box. You can cast a spell, you can use an item (yellow scroll to deposit your wood for example). Some people claim that wearing Fabled trowels increase your success rate; others claim that is just a rumor to make money for Ranger guides who can make that item.

Wooling

You can gather wool at any level. It is not a real craft only a nice way to make money.

Farming

Buy a Basic sickle at Ssal's Market, in the Kugnae wheat field (110, 138). There are two places to farm, either this field, or the Nagnang woodlands field (center is at about 118, 56). You must be Level 20 to wield a Basic sickle.

Hold the sickle in your hand and walk around in the field. You will get pop ups with some text that explains a little about the crop you have discovered, and 4 options. You must pick the option that fits the text, or you don't even have a chance of getting anything.

For Rice and Wheat pop ups:
Very tall = Swing high
Rained down to the right = Swing right
Blown to the left = Swing left
Barely tall = Swing low

For pea pop ups, always pick the option that says Pick peas.

Remember, skills are based on successes, not on materials used, so your mileage will vary from these charts. However, you should get somewhere in the range of what these charts are saying, as each person may craft better or worse. It depends on your path, subpath, totem time and just plain luck.

Master-Grand Master always seem to be between 250-300% of what you did between Expert and Master. Champion is double the amount Master-Grand master, and Legendary is double the amount Grand Master-Champion.
