Short Description:
The Silla Clan comes from the desert. They are are survivalists and adapt quickly to new tactics. They are experienced in advanced martial arts and strive to develop both in unison. They believe that in doing so, the body can be applied to whatever tasks may be at hand and quickly adapt to any situation.

History:
The Silla lived for countless generations in the Great Sands. They were forced to explore all the angles and think all permutations through. They could not waste anything. It was a matter of survival. By no other means could one live in such inhospitable places. Nonetheless the desert was their home. They learned to live there and in general, no one else wanted it, which was to their advantage. They were naturally interested in learning the way things were done in other lands. The function of government, the advancement of craft, the development of skill and knowledge were things they have studied in the surrounding lands, but always, they returned to their home, feeling secure in it.

In the not so distant past, ogres and men invaded their spaces and enslaved those that were not quick enough to react. They fought, but in vein. Normally, they would be able to defend themselves as they know the terrain better then any, but the dark veiled figure utilized strange magic. It clouded their minds causing confusion and fear. Fortunately, this seemed to be a proximal effect. Once they retreated everyone seemed unharmed for the most part.

In the wake of this upheaval gypsies have come to inhabit their lands in the desert. The gypsies were able to seal them out of their areas with magic that is not known to community. The Silla people were unable to return to centuries old habitats. Tribes of ogres left behind also remain in large numbers roaming the lands. Their numbers are seemingly endless. Drive away one bunch and another immediately takes its place. In addition, large serpents seem to have been disturbed by activities initiated by the veiled one and the ones that followed. They are seemingly immortal and fierce. Some have been captured in crystal, but far more roam the opened desert and swim beneath the ocean of sand. They were forced to migrate. Not wanting to overwhelm the sometimes suspicious lands to the east, they´ve split up into small groups, each venturing to different sovereignties. History has shown that an influx of an out-group can lead to prejudice and hatred. They were afraid that this was a possibility given to the knowledge of the human history and the wars that have happened in surrounding regions. This would not be helpful for any of inhabitants of these lands or for the Silla. So, they´ve dispersed like the sands of the desert from which they came. It was a matter of survival.

The Silla was without a home, they are alive, but diffuse and we wish to dwell together. They took shelter in the lands of Nagnang which they shared a common enemy with. Residing in the kingdom of Nagnang, the Silla was now a clan united once again.
