History:
Much of Alizarin history is obscured by the fact that the ability of Sight is quite rare. Many who have it don´t know what is it and they fear for their own sanity. Rather than be ostracized by society, the early Alizarin kept their special abilities a secret.

The earliest stories of Alizarin begin at the time of the Shattering. The most notorious of all Unseen was the Darkstaff, which held Orb firmly in it´s grip. Folklore has it that Eldridge was advised by an Alizarin on how to fashion the spirit arrow that eventually destroyed the Darkstaff.

During the time of Blight and the Nagnang incursion entire villages were razed and the vulnerable Nagnang population were left to deal with the aftermath. Salvation came in the form of a red-haired bard that could see that which others could not. An Alizarin, he knew the secrets behind Chizao´s power, and what it would take to defeat him. With this "crazy" bard´s guidance Chizao´s tomb was sealed once more.

It is only in recent history that those with the Sight have banded together to battle the Unseen. In Yuri 79 the Alizarin Clan petitioned Prince Kija to obtain official recognition in the Kingdom of Nagnang. After six months of trials that permission was granted by a unanimous vote of all Nagnang primogens.
