Tangun Help week!~

From March 13th to 19th We encourage every member of the community to come to Tangun as
often as you can to Help new players! Before this week we plan on heavily advertising on
Social media and also encourage others to post/share the advertisement =)
Kru interactive has not been advertising or helping NexusTK as much as we all wish
So its up to us to spread the word and get new players to try the game we all love so much.
During Tangun help week We encourage players to help new players along with any

Alilolelotte "Help Day"

Today, Alilolelotte gave us a mini help-day. She went through some mythic caves and killed bosses. This was done as a way of thanking the community for reporting the bugs that were present after the recent major patch.

Exchange of Letters Between Guerrund and Koohwen
|
The Primogen of Phoenix clan of Buya, Guerrund, sent a letter to Manchuria's chancellor, Koohwen, requesting for livestock, particularly sheep. Here is a copy of the letters exchanged:

Greetings Chancellor,
Our dealings have been wonderful. The weapons you have gotten and the shipments of specialty wood, specialty boulders and specialty cloth have all been in excellent condition and tested. I wish to make an amendment to our deal however.
Instead of paying us the last installment in gold, would you be willing to give us 100 sheep and 50 goats, all of which are young enough to breed offspring? We would deduct this cost from the total that is owed of course.
Our clan is in need of more wool and this would help us better fill any demands that you may have in the future if we have wool in our own garden, rather than shipping it from Nagnang, then to Manchuria once it is completed.
If you decide that this is not a fair trade, we will be happy to honor the original agreement.

Just few minutes ago there has been reset in Nexus. Here's what new as posted by GM Stein on Dreamweaver's board:
New February itemshop release, many with resting animations! Additionally, Mystic Skeletal Armor, Heavenly Soul Mantle, Saber Hide Tunic, Arcane Skeletal Armor, and Demonic Soul Mantle all now have resting animations as well.
Fixed a few portals and small bugs
Thanks for letting us know what items you added animations to! It's like a dream come true.

Seems that the positive legend mark from the Valentine's day event isn't so positive at all. When it was launched it was to help them live a "beautiful life", but seems now it was all a lie and whoever did the quest prior to the patch got tricked into helping them live a "beautiful lie".

Nexus Version V7.12 - another patch

Three days ago we questioned if KRU had forsaken Nexus and if the long period of no storms would represent the "dark ages" of the Kingdom of Winds. Clearly they have not. With the recent major patch done by them, the fixes of all the problems mentioned in the previous post and this Valentine's event that was added, there was enough evidence pointing out that they've just been lacking communication, but lacking dedication.
Yet, the true love was witness tonight when at around 2:00am PST (KRU's local timezone), Stein came to Nexus and announced he would do a second patch to fix the problems brought by the previous one. This means that Stein has been working non-stop since the patch to V7.11 has been added until 2am when he finally uploaded the fix. Normally people would expect the fix to come only in the next commercial hours of PST timezone.
Stein world shouted that they would be doing another patch which would be fix the majority of the issues that came with Nexus client V7.11 such as the crashing when trying to look at someone's profile, the weird colors of hair and coats from Kruna items and more. He mentioned there might be a few lingering things so if anyone finds any other bug that began since latest patches to send to support ticket and they'll take a look.
OmegaEscalus actually tried to ask the DreamWeaver to give people some time to clean the floors and avoid losing items, but didn't seem to have worked. Since very people were active around, the reset for the new patch came within less then 5 minutes, but still was very welcomed by everyone who was around late at night. Nexus patch to client version 7.12 adds an additional 0.28 Mb (much faster one) to the previous patch last night. Most people will end doing both patches together and will skip the malfunctioned client version.
Thanks for the fix Stein and your amazing dedication to Nexus tonight. Get some rest, you deserve it!

Until death do them part - event walkthrough

| Star-crossed lovers Jeone and Hu no longer share the same realm of existence... However, it looks like that does not make them give up on one another! Their situation is tricky, and if left to their own devices lovers may never meet again... They could use your help! Seek out Jeone at the Lotus Chapel and see what he has to say. |
As the post reveals, you begin this Valentine's weekend quest by visiting the Lotus Chapel, at Kugnae 152,188. The easiest way to reach it is walking north from Kugnae south gate and then going east when you see a big tree across the wide bridge.
Once inside Lotus Chapel, the quest goes as following:
1. Click Lotus and choose the 4th option: "Till death do us part".
2. Next you have to agree to help change Jeone's mind. To do that choose the Lotus option for "Of course, show me where he is".
3. Once you reach Chapel Back Room click to talk to Jeone. Choose "Lotus sent me, she said you're in trouble". He'll ignore the second option.
4. Next click on "What can I do?". He asks you to find a poison so he can be with his beloved Hu no again. He'll ignore if you tell that he needs a tea and relax. Perhaps he doesn't like tea.
5. Jeone starts mumbling and trembling, you then go back Lotus. Click her again. Lotus might be having a problem with her memory, because each person who goes there has been telling her the same thing and she is still a bit surprised when we tell her that Jeone has been wanting to be a Romeo. She at least says there's a way to prevent it: talk to Hu no's spirit and talk her into not being a Juliet and convince him this is madness. Lotus tells you to seek help of one of the old shamans of the kingdom.
6. Go to Dusk Shaman's hut at Kugnae 042,090 and click to talk to the old lady. After telling her the story she probably heard multiple times, you learn that Hu no died chasing squirrels! What a poor fate she had. Dusk reveals that Hu no's spirit has still haven't made the full transition to the spiritual realm of no-return and you might still find a way to talk to her by reaching the Purgatory. Be careful at this part because this crazy old lady will pull at knife at you and do a slight skin cut at your finger! Such procedure isn't deep enough to cut off your finger, but if you have any fainting problems for seeing blood, especially your own, do not try this ritual she proposes.
7. She tells you to come back in a bit until she finds a way to keep you safe while you visit Hu. Couldn't she just do the same thing she did to the previous person who talked to her? Anyway, you'll have to wait 15 minutes to talk to Dusk her again before you can be teleported to the Purgatory. Use this waiting period to hunt squirrels and rabbits for the new roots (two types) and apples (see the two routes below to choose which to collect).
8. Once inside the Purgatory Waiting Room you can find Hu no's spirit floating at the northern part. Click to talk to her and choose to tell her that "Jeone is trying to kill himself to be with you". Hu no insists that you must help stop Jeone's as she would never wish that upon him. She says that he needs to live for both of them and that is the only way she can be happy.
9. Next click Asmodi. The creature will then reveal that death was after Jeone, not Hu no. Asmodi then says there isn't he can do to help them.
10. Click Asmodi again and he'll ask if Jeone wants to die and says that such makes things interesting. Asmodi then explains there is two things that can be done: bring him to her or bring her to him.
At this point the quest splits into two with the moral question: Do we help her rejoin the world of the living, or do we allow him to choose his own path and join her amongst the dead?. Asmodi asks you to think about it before going back to him.
[IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Be careful with your choice as one gives white legend mark (option A) and other gives red legend mark (option B]
[Option A]
Hu deserves to live her life with Jeone
A1. Asmodi tells you must collect items to create an elixir to bring her back to life. Although Asmodi says you need 20 roots, all you need is to collect 15 Licorice roots from squirrels and bring them to Lotus to create the elixir and bring Hu back to her husband.
A2. Once you collect the 15 Licorice roots (hopefully you collected them while waiting the 15 minutes for Dusk shaman), you can bring them to Lotus and click the same option as before. She'll collect the roots and give you a Yangbantai item as reward for helping. She then tells you to wait a few moments to reunite the loved ones.
A3. After waiting 5 minutes talk to Lotus again and you'll be sent to a room called which has Hu no and Jeone together. Talk to Jeone and as a reward he will give you a new wig based on your gender.
- Love Life Dreads (male)
- Love Life Locks (female)
You will also get a new positive Legend mark "Helped love transcend death to achieve a beautiful life.

Let Jeone join her
B1. Asmodi will you tell you to collect items to make a strong enough poison one that will bring Jeone to Purgatory so they may pass to spiritual realm together: 15 Machineel roots and 5 Machineel apples.
B2. Once you collect the 15 Machineel roots and 5 Machineel apples (hopefully you collected them while waiting the 15 minutes for Dusk shaman), you can bring them to Dusk Shaman and click her. She'll collect the roots and give you a Yangbantai item as reward for helping. She then tells you to wait a few moments to reunite the loved ones, in death.
B3. In this case you don't need to wait to talk to her. Just click her again and you'll be sent back to Purgatory Waiting room, but at this point the spirits of Hu no and Jeone will be together. Talk to Jeone and he'll reveal that his wife isn't happy with his decision, but that they'll have eternity to get over it. As a memento from when he lived, he'll reward you, regardless of your gender, with a shamanic death mask called Khuya Rumi.
You will also obtain a new red legend Mark: "Help love transcend life to achieve a painful truth".

Note: both routes will give you a Yangbantai, which is a non-droppable item which when used makes a small amount of mana surge through your veins. Basically it restores a certain percentage of mana when someone is trying to invoke and has not enough mana. No need to carry herb pipes anymore.
Since Jeone and his wife Hu no can reunite both in life and death our community is creating here another case of parallel universe. Hope this ripple in time-space won't end up causing another problem like happened to Alt Kugnae.

So there were a few issues with the patch. Namely, if you group someone and press 'f' you'll crash. If you try to look at people's profiles you might crash.
And there's a good chance your belongings will be the wrong color. Alilolelotte has asked us to mail her all the issues we find and to be very specific. What the item name is, the color it should be, and the color it appears as should be included in the nmails.
She also asked us to make sure things other than wearables are the right color. If your rice wine is looking a little shady it might still be good, just be sure to mail Alilolelotte.

Prepare yourselves for a massive client patch with 51.35Mb! GM Stein posted on DreamWeaver's board the list with the following changes for Nexus version 7.11:
In one of the biggest client patches we've ever done (seriously, it's big), we have added resting animations for some armors, weapons, and head accessories. Not everything will have them to start out, but more and more new things will. One of the first places you'll be able to see this is some of the weapon skins that people bought in the itemshop. After the patch, many of them will have new animations built in! Cool stuff. We're excited to start incorporating these graphics into the game in new and exciting ways, so stay tuned!
Valentine's is here and the snow has melted! Butterflies are all around as Valentine's Day draws near. Additionally, Jeone is in trouble. Talk to Lotus and see if you can help out.

Have they forsaken us? (A: No, they have not)

This post has been updated from its original version to recognize the changes and efforts that KRU has done to fix all of the issues. So no, they haven't forsaken Nexus at all, but hopefully in future they will inform players that they've been busy working on a major patch like the one added on Feb. 11th, just so everyone is sure things are going normal. Everything you see written in blue has been added/edited after the 02/11 patch.
Today is the 40th day of the year and since 2016 started and so far the only update Nexus had that was done by KRU was an increase on the success rate using Scroll of Immortality. Since then, only thing that happened was a silent reset about 18-19 days ago, which apparently didn't change anything.
It is almost Valentine's Day, but Christmas items and creatures still roam around - Fixed with February 11th reset! All good with the seasoned events again.
The Support Ticket system has stopped working properly for a week now. Trying to check tickets you submit will give 500 - Internal server error. - Ticket system seems to be working fine again and you can view the ones you've submitted normally.
Several players been having problem when trying to purchase registration codes. - There's no confirmation that this problem has been fixed yet, but since the other 3 were fixed, we for now will assume they fixed it.
The Users List stopped being updated since Saturday. - Users List has been updated once more and it's back working automatically.
While then at Dark Ages, KRU has done 4 major resets this year, almost 1 per week and in such 4 includes 1 new event (For Valentine's) and a new Patch. Therefore, KRU is still alive and working, but why is Nexus being ignored?
Answer: Nexus isn't being ignored! Horray! Love still exists!

New Primogen for Heavens Clan

A new Primogen has been voted for Heavens clan of Buya after the clan had spent some time under lockdown. Congratulations to Mog-Ur Kallyssa on becoming the new primogen!
She said these words: "I am so thankful for the privilage of being Primogen of Heaven's Clan. We are a very active part of the community and I am so excited to get to help Heaven's continue to grow and thrive."

Nexus TK celebrates its Lunar's New Year today, feb. 8th, as it marks the arrival of the 4714th year of the eastern asian traditional calendar. Different from the solar calendar, such lunisolar calendar has 354 days and each of year is represented by a different zodiac animal and one of the 5 elements.
The Year of the Fire Monkey represents in the folklore an year of unpredictability and passion for innovation. The mischievous red monkey can bring an era of building, creating and forging ahead and a lot of ups and downs. As the ninth animal in the cycle, the monkey years are believed to be one of the most unlucky years in the calendar.
Curiosity: The last Fire Monkey year 4654 (1956).
